Armana was set on the ground to rest, Sydra transformed and walked briskly to Silpphire's side. He could only imagine she'd get attacked and someone should be there to protect her. He was used to people hallucinating after a surprise teleport from Armana.

Silpphire picked up the scroll and hugged it.
"How come I didn't see Nenshib?" Pyromage half complained, half asked.
"He teleported really fast," Silpphire opened the scroll, it looked like some kind of map. "X marks the spot, we should go there!"
Pyromage caught up to them and looked at the map. It was drawn with crayons. "isn't that just a random map, it looks like a little kid drew it... well I guess since Nenshib is so cool it would bea bit strange if he's -that- perfect. He must not be very good at drawing and coloring inside his own lines."
"It was done on purpose I'm sure," Silpphire jumped to conclusions, "this is in case the map falls into the wrong hands, that way they won't think it's too important. I want to go here!" She pointed at the X on the poorly drawn map.
Plushie sat next to Armana, he was used to Silpphire and Pyro suddently wanting to get something, go somewhere or do something. They acted on a whim many times.

It troubles Dion that the map should be here so quickly. It troubles him that Nenshib knew where they were. And most of all it troubles him that the two children are so content that he had been there. He grumbles silently.
Sydra looks it over for several minutes. He grumbles much like Dion had thinking along the same lines. He changes to a raven and takes to the sky. He's going to scout the area.
I doubt its that simple. Armana muses mostly to herself. They still have the archer to worry about too. She sighs trying to relieve stress. She pets Plushie, "You're a good boy." she reassures knowing that right now, he's the only one listening to her.

Plushie wagged his tail and licked Armana.
"Let's go! Let's go!" Silpphire turned the map over multiple times. "Okay so um... which way is north?"
"That way," Pyro pointed towards the east.
"I mean on the map, and you're pointing at the west, the north is over there," Silpphire pointed towards the south.
"My knightly senses tell me that the north is that way," Pyromage insisted that the north was at the east.
"Never mind that, which way is north on the map?!"
"How should I know?"
"Knights are supposed to know how to read maps!"
Plushie howled as if to tell Pyromage and Silpphire to stop yelling, and they actually stopped.
A moment of silence passed until they finally split, Silpphire going to Armana and Pyromage to Dion, "which way?" they asked simultaneously.

Armana doesn't want to take the map. The raven's crow echoes throughout the sky. She takes it anyways Dion looking over her shoulder.
"South." Dion says.
But Armana disagrees, "North." She takes the map and flips it in her hand, the ability to read emotions from documents was helpful, "See, this is north."
"Ah, yes, you are correct."
But both Silpphire and Pyro are wrong.

"That way?!" Silpphire and Pyro echo.
"But knight are supposed to know which way their going..." Pyromage complained.
Silpphire shrugged, she wasn't as disappointed that she didn't guess as Pyro was. "It doesn't look like it's a very long way out there so it'll be alright. If we take a wrong turn we'll start over. Now let's go! To the treasure!" She cheered.
The place marked on the map was indded close by. The X appeared next to a tree where the soil was soft and missing the grass that covered the rest of the area, making it obvious that something was buried there.
Plushie approached the area, pointing at it with his paw like a hound. "That's right Plushie, we're here!" Silpphire cheered.
"What kind of treasure is waiting for us?" Pyromage was in fanboy mode again.

Armana gave a large sigh, "I have a bad feeling about this..."
Dion could not believe how easily amused they were. Nothing like he was used too, Syd was not hyper child, nor did he care about treasure. He watched silently as Pyro and Silpphire found hte spot.
Syd landed and sat on the spot then hopped around as he were looking over it. He changed back his black feathers becoming his jacket, "Let me see the map," he said before taking it regardless of who had it.

"It's the right place, it has to be!" Silpphire was certain of it, "okay Pyro, dig!"
"What? Why me?!" Pyromage complained.
"You want to be a knight right? Then be knightly and dig out the treasure," Silpphire nodded to herself. She had just found the perfect excuse to boss Pyro around.
"Fine I'll dig... but I don't have shovel..." Pyromage formed a ball of fire in his hand. "maybe this will make a hole.
"Stop!" A child's voice was heard. "don't try to steal the treasure!" The little girl was loud and looked angry.
A little boy with a toy sword followed, "I'll stop the thieves! I won't let them have a single marble!"
"They're only here because you lost the map!" The girl yelled.
Silpphire blinked, "marbles... is that what's buried here? Did a imagine seeing Nenship?"
There was a soft found hidden behind a tree near by and a wave of energy as if an unseen person who had been watching all along teleported away.

Great, Syd thought, Children. He holds the map just out of reach of the child pulling Pyro back. "This is yours?" Syd really isn't about keeping something that isn't theirs to keep.
Armana shifts uncomfortably standing up. Something was wrong. The wave of energy caused her to turn around quickly nearly spinning completely around and falling.

"It's our map!" The girl yelled.
The boy pointed his toy sword at Syd "Give it back!"
Pyromage let the map go, "aren't you a bit young for a duel between knights?" He approached the little boy, but the child stomped on his foot. "Ow! That's not fair! You're not going to become a knight with such cheap shots!"
"But if it's just marbles then we don't need this kind of treasure..." Silpphire sighed, she was expecting it to be something really cool. "Who are you kids anyway."
"I'm Sir Gadel and this is Lady Naima," the boy said.
"A knight and a lady..." Silpphire giggled, "it's kind of cute."
"Knights don't cheat like that," Pyromage grumbled.

Sydra was used to childish antics. He almost laughed when Pyro had his foot stomped on. He handed the map down to the children.
“Forgive us Sir Knight and Mi’lady.” Sydra softly said, “We only just found this, and we’re very curious people.” He gave a slow nod and knelt down, “You see, my comrades and I are on a journey and we are looking for clues. Of course it is our mistake that we picked up your map thinking it was one of our clues. But, you have our most sincere apologies.”
Armana walked over and stood next to Sydra, almost amazed he could belt out that many words in such a nice manner. She didn’t have fancy words or a swift tongue like her husband.
“I do hope you’ll forgive us.” Armana agreed, “Afterall, we really didn’t mean it.” While she spoke she searched out the energies of the children and the surrounding area.

Gadel and Naima looked at each other and nodded, "you apology is accepted, we thank you for returning our map," Gadel spoke.
Silpphire had been wondering if she imagined seeing Nenshib, since it didn't look like the children were linked to him at all. They appeared to be regular children. Then she saw something, but it moved too fast and she couldn't distinguish what it was. "Did anyone else see something over there?"
The blur appeared and disappeared again, out of Silpphire's line of vision but Pyromage saw it this time, "I saw it! What is that?"
Plushie growled at the appearing and disappearing blur, it happened faster each time until the blur became slightly bigger, distorted by the speed with which it came and went, and an arrow flow out from the spot were it had been. The arrow flew past the group missing the target, this happened in a matter of seconds a few more times until one arrow hit.
The arrow came unexpectedly, brushing against Naima's arm, not enough to get stuck, but just enough to make a relatively small cut. The strange black liquid on the tip of the arrow being rapidly absorbed into the wound. "Ah!"
"Naima!" Gadel searched for the culprit but couldn't tell who had shot the arrow, except that it came with that blur. "Who did that? Who hurt Naima?!"
One final arrow came, with a scroll attached and the blur did not return after that.

At the Sugary Kingdom Castle...
"Your aim is terrible," Nenshib told Darum, with a tone of superiority that would make anyone lose their temper.
Darum clenched his fists and tried not to lose his cool, "no one could have done better appearing and disappearing at that speed."
Nenshib ignored his comment, these who he had tricked into doing his bidding to clear their names would find the material he needed for the spell he was planning, and if they needed a little motivation, then the children would provide it. They were normal kids, unfortunate children who crossed the path the fake witch and for that they would be used.

Sydra nodded, “It is our pleasure.” He casted a semi-angry glance to Pyro and grumbled about childishness before quickly turning his attention back to the children. Sydra knelt down to lift up the little girl and then thought better of it after he realized she was wounded. “Armana, Dion.”
He distanced himself letting Dion pick up the injured child and Armana the scroll.
“This is bad,” Armana commented offhandedly. “Something’s wrong.” She handed the parchment to Silpphire without reading hoping only to get it away from her.

Silpphire opened up the scroll. It appeared along with the blur and as far as she could tell, that strange blur was what hurt the girl. "If you wish to make an antidote, you must find these ingredients. Large amounts of them are needed. Head to the potion shop at the Life's End to prepare it." Silpphire read aloud. "What does this all mean?"
"I knew what Life's End is!" Pyromage raised his hand like a child in school. "It's a place that always appears in all the story book about knights. Lifeless Desert is beyond there, a large dessert said to be impossible to cross. Nothing can survive there so it's called Lifeless Desert. Life's End is the border around the desert but that's really far away and I've never been there."
"Wait, you don't mean that place on the far east, do you? No one has gone there. The habitable land ends at that point and there's nothing but an endless desert beyond. Some say it's connected to the desert in the western side of the world but no one has ever gotten across. Besides it would take months to get there and we don't have anything from this list... Why would they give us the recipe to an antidote anyway?" Silpphire started to flail in confusion.
"There's a potion maker granny that lives at Life's End... that's what the stories say," Pyro replied.
"That doesn't explain why who ever hurt Naima would give us this recipe!" Silpphire complained. "It smells like some sort of trap."
Pyromage actually looked like he was thinking about it then made a knightly pose, "it is a trap! So um... What do we do?"
