"Probably a follow up on the last mission." Mikari nooded.
"How come?" She asked as Matt started to leave. Maybe none of them should really be there but they were Turks so being where they were not supposed to be was nothing new. "Should we all go to the office or is someone staying here to babysit Spitter?"

Hikou popped her head out the door.
"Hey, hey, hey now!" she hollered. "Rude called me if anyone's going to the office, it's gonna be me!"
That said, she took off for the elevator, as childishly as an assassin of twenty-six years of age is capable of.

"Sorry Hikou, I didn't know it was a date!" Mikari called after her giggling in amusement.

The girl scowled as she jammed the elevator button much too hard. "Business, Mikari. Business."

Matt smiled back at his comrade. "Guess I should change into a fresh suit before seeing Tseng, huh?" He actually didn't even think of it until Snow had mentioned it. He never really did pay much attention to the part of his training manual that said "You should always present yourself in a professional fashion while on the job" but he still tried to behave well enough to keep his job.
He turned to respond to Mikari's question, but was interrupted by a Hikou-like blur that sped right past him. Blinking, he just stood there, not responding much. Eagerness wasn't exactly his forte.
"..There'll be plenty of time for you and Tseng to go on a 'business date' after the mission." He explained to Hikou, in a completely obvlivious manner.

"Okay, okay, I get it. You want me to mind my own business. Relax, we'll give you some privacy," Hikou, Mikari decided, was just too much fun to tease. "Right?" She grinned at Matt welcoming him into the 'let's bug Hikou' group.
"I suppose..." she commented about the new suit. "I don't see much wrong with the one you have on now, but Tseng might."

Hikou's face crumpled. Somehow, she always seemed to lose this game, and it was always the same one that started it.
"Mikari, I am going to beat you with him," she pointed a finger at Matt.
The mention of new suits somewhat peaked her interest, as none of them really looked all that great. Having crawled through the rusted wreckage of an already-filthy city had not worked many wonders in the girl's benefit, and neither had hauling a half-dying boy over her shoulder.

Snow watched for several moments not quite sure where to insert herself into the conversation. And finally she decided there was probably no safe place. She gave a small sigh and then decided she'd be taking the stairs.
It woul dbe very normal for them all to rush to Tseng's office looking like some new catastrophe. Work was too far and in between and Snow did not want to be stuck in the building again.
She wanted to say 'Let's make ourselves presentable', but if a new mission was on the way she could almost guarantee another mess. She htought back ot the mission, "I at least should change." Snow said, "I have to con our way into a meeting with Reeve."

"Oh sure, distract us by picking a fight. It's okay, I still have some MP left," she ran her fingers over comet, the materia that had not been used during their mission. It drained a lot of MP but she could use it at least once.
"If all of you change I'll do it too," but she wasn't going to bother getting a new suit unless everyone else was doing it too, no extra work for her. So far she had only taken off her gloves so she wouldn't get whatever dirt and grime was left on them on her food, but she would just as easily put them back on and skip off to her next mission looking exactly how she did out of this one. There was really no point in getting cleaned up, only to get dirty again.

The idea of changing seemed tedious. "You think they'd wait and extra five minutes for a shower?" Snow asked, she was serious, but thought that may be pushing her luck.

Hikou shrugged at the elevator doors opened. "I know I wouldn't."
She stepped inside and reached to push the button.

Matt just shrugged. "Either way, Tseng can wait. If it was an urgent mission, I'm sure we'd already be getting yelled at by now." He headed to the stairs, which he always found to be quicker than the elevator. "In any case, I'll meet you all there."
He headed up the stairs and down a few corridors until he finally reached the locker room. Too lazy to remember his lock combination, he just banged on the locker Fonzie style and watched it swing open. Sure enough, he had his back-up suit waiting for him in there.
He undressed and tossed his dirty coat and pants into the locker and his shirt into the trash. He knew that no amount of scrubbing would ever get those blood stains off. It was one of the downsides of being a turk. They'd always get the dirty jobs, and the company doesn't pay for new uniforms. He had gone through so many white dress shirts that he lost count ages ago.
Not bothering to shower, he settled for washing his face in a nearby sink and anything else that was noticeably dirty he just wiped clean with a damp towel. He then put on a fresh change of clothes, polished his shades and slid them over his eyes. Looking in the mirror, he said out loud to himself "We may loose a fortune in new suits, but d**n do we ever look good."

"Okay fine... be right back." Mikari took the elevator since she liked glass elevators and went to change.
She didn't like water but if it was hot water it was tolerable. It must have been a record for fastest shower, or somewhere quite close to it. She put on a new suit and noted she had forgotten to bring another pair of shoes. She shrugged and cleaned them off with a towel that would be inevitably lost after that. She washed over her gloves and tugged them in her jacket. She re-tied her hair but had not bothered washing it.
"Materia, PHS, gil, gloves, ID, electrorod, am I forgetting something? Oh yeah the tie..." and she left pretending she had simply forgotten the tie as she always did.

Snow opted for a quick shower, much like Mikari. And it didn't even take her five minutes before she was in a nice clean suit. She'd have to take the other to the cleaner and it was a chore she had half a mind to make Shinra pay for.
After depositing some of her materia back in her locker she was back into the stair well.

Hikou jabbed down a button and waited patiently as the lift dinged its way up to the locker room.
Marching down a few hallways and to her little niche in the rows of sheet-metal, the girl spun in her com and set to the first order of business: re-equipping.
It was a short period of time until Cure had been cast a few times, what few materia she took with her were switched into place, and her blood-soaked, dirt-streaked, uniform was traded in for a new one.
She hadn't the time to bother with a shower, wadding the jacket and pants beyond repair into a ball, she tossed them into a wastebasket. Patting herself down once to be sure she'd grabbed her ID and green packet, she headed back out of the locker room.

There was no rush for them. The Turks simply did what they wanted when they wanted. And Tseng knew this. But on days like today he had little patience to wait. He sat at his desk arms crossed and what had been a paper filled hell earlier was near spotless.

Mikari headed to the elevator and up to Tseng's office, she would meet up with everyone else there.

Matt had found his way to the lounge, where he was laid back on a couch with his hands folded behind his head. He was taking a 15 minute power nap, simply because he always hated to be the first to show up to meetings.
