"Reno is coming..." Mikari pointed at the boy with her electro-rod, though she was too far to actually touch him. "This is his fault," she made it sound as if the red head has dropped or spilled something and made a mess on the floor that she ended up having to clean; which she wouldn't do it if the case was as simple as that. "He crawled here for us to find and drag and transport because he didn't squish him well enough." It was her theory, and she didn't care to further investigate it, she simply assumed it to be close enough to the truth.

Hikou sighed again, her breath blowing her long bangs out of her face only to settle in a more disarrayed fashion than before. Far be it for her to say, but Reno never had particularly struck Hikou as the track and report sort of guy.
He was more... preemptive strike.
Still, it was a nice angle to work, especially if she were going to escape this blameless. And though she also doubted the kid would've survived long enough to have been poking around the first time Reno swept through, it would be interesting to see his reaction to their find.
She assumed it was comparitively mind blowing to his report, though she'd never actually stopped to read the thing through. Visably, the wheels turning in her head slammed to a halt. "What'd we end up doing with his first investigation anyway?" She really couldn't remember much of it, past the fact there had been too many numbers to merit much interest.

"Reno's info? It must be in the databases somewhere," not that the ambiguous 'somewhere' was very helpful, but it should at least be there and it shouldn't be particularly hard to find, at least it shouldn't... Mikari shook her head. "But really he's not great at writing reports, good to look at, bad to read his work. We might still find something useful though."

Snow's head shook. "Tseng had it this morning, I believe. And that is why we're here after all."She gave a shrug and stood, sick of kneeling. "Never saw the report myse;f, but there was that sad excuse of the lab report."

Mikari shrugged. "I don't like reading reports," she admitted, though it was no secret, regardless of who wrote the report.

"You don't like reading anything." Snow piped into Mikari's confession about reading. "Or rather what you like to read is way to narrow." Meaning that she knew her comrade only read when she absolutely had too.
Reno walked through the halls in a mix of stomping aggravation and hurried amusement. He mumbled to himself before half turning to Rude. "You think we get paid over time for saving them?" But before letting his partner answer his hand practically smashed the buttons on the elevator, "This is annoying, I hate saving people." It was really in his job description. Sure he was getting paid for this, but he'd rather be on break.

Mikari nodded. "I like to read comics, I read the pilot of odd Shinra comic that never actually went into production. The one with the Turks as some kind of spy style super heroes."

Hikou frowned. "I always liked the Super-Sephiroth one that old Silver-Elite club put out before they got sued for libel."
Sharply, she elbowed their new friend in the side. "How 'bout you, Spitter?" she crooned affectionately. "I bet you read that pansy Weapon save the earth Captain McPlanetPants bull." The girl tried not too look too relieved when he opened his eyes long enough to give her a bone-chilling glare; if he had knocked himself a nice little concussion the last thing she needed was him sleeping himself to death.
Rude shrugged at his partner. He supposed there were a number of things that needed pointing out, not that anything he said would've made the red-head's attitude any better. "..."

"That was good. The one I couldn't stand was that Rufus Gary Stu comic where he was oh so perfect and amazing and had a sword that looked like a giant rose," of course Rufus never let that one go into production. Regardless of how much he was told it was beneficial to his image, it was simply too ridiculous.

"I work for Shinra," Snow voiced, "I try not to let them invade my personal time any more than I can help it." She raised an eyebrow listening to the two speak on different comics they had read that quite frankly - she had never heard of.
As though Rude had said something Reno gave a sigh. "I know." and he shuffled into the chopper without much else to say other than a few choice swear words. But he didn't have time to commit them to memory for the girls who were causing this. On an upside, he supposed, he should have been happy to have such and easy mission.

Hikou stared at Snow for a long minute, trying to recall the last time she'd actually had a moment away from the company, and couldn't come up with a good answer. It seemed like the corporation had their claws spindled around everything in her world, and could only return, "I wasn't aware there was a life outside of Shinra."
Rude followed the redhead into the helicopter, not nearly half as annoyed or vocal, which wasn't saying much, but he supposed it counted for something. Slipping the his headset on he asked, "Do we have their coordinates?"

"Which makes me wonder where you two have found time to read at all." Snow looked up to the sky, "I mean, if I had the opportunity to sit and read it would not be anything Shinra related if I could get my hands on something else."
Headset on and hands flying over the controls Reno looked over for half a second, "Details, how hard can it be?" Or so he claimed but if they had their PHS which he was sure they did it shouldn't be too hard to track. Because needlessly worrying about trivial details was not his style.

"I don't want a life outside of Shinra," Mikari voiced, "they have the best tech." She paused, "unless of course I find another place with better machines and then I'll betray Shinra without a second thought." She was rather open about it, but the possibility of another company with more technology and power than Shinra didn't appear to be very likely. "Multitasking, Snow, read and work all at once."

Snow wanted to reply but thought better of it for several moments. There was no way to say she liked or disliked Shinra without it sounding like some semi-forced truth. In fact she both loved and hated it and it seeped through on both sides of the argument. Instead she chose to reply to the latter half of the conversation about multi-tasking. "Well, then I think I get too much work, or I fail at multi-tasking."
A shrug slipped passed her shoulders and she strained her ears and attention to listen for the helicopter.
-----
The steady beats of the blades made a soothing aura and noise to Reno's ears. And what had been anger and irritation slipped away to half lifeless eyes of Turks works. Coordinates or not, tracking or invisibility - he just didn't care anymore. Something would be done and it would surely be done right. Though right was a matter of opinion and all he had to was make sure htey got from point A to point B.

"I don't work while I'm on break," and Mikari didn't add 'and I'm on break when ever I feel I should be' but the words were somehow implied silently. "I wish the copter would hurry up and get here, I wonder if Spitter gets motion sick," she was basically immune to motion sickness, in fact she liked the soft movements of both land and sky vehicles, though she did not like traveling. She had no mercy making fun of random strangers who did get motion sick, but would attack without warning if anyone made fun of any of her allies for the same reason. She was biased, always leaning towards the side of the Turks, her side.

Hikou gave the boy a small prod in the ribs, watching in fascination as he winced and groaned. "I can't see him having all that much room to be any more sick." She placed another well-aimed poke at a purple splotch on his shoulder. "But if he does, I call not-it on clean up."
The girl moved to take another jab at the boy, having deciding the activity, more than satisfying her slightly sadistic tendencies, would serve quite well in keeping the runt awake, but was forced to stop before she made contact.
There was a rushing sound in the air. Her head cocked like a crow. "You hear that?"
-
Midgar was fast approaching, Rude realized, a mass of twisted pipeline and broken glass, teeming with destruction, and offering no decent landing pad. He trusted Reno could cope with this quite well, and set his headset to dial out to Mikari's phone, waiting expectantly to see if it would actually ring.

a loud heavy rock version of what she had heard many people call the 'Turks theme' rung out clearly, because Mikari never kept the default setting on anything. Default setting were made for the dumb masses. She answered the phone, happy at the chance to finally return a more technologically functional place. "Hey!" She sounded more like she was greeting a friend to chat about everything and nothing, which she thought was funny if Rude was calling; he wasn't exactly talkative.

"Sounds like trouble." Snow off-handedly commented. But it was a mix of trouble and salvation she reasoned a second later.
-- Reno's eyes scanned the area four or five times before he decided this would be tricky. There was not much Reno could do until he found somewhere decent enough to land; or rather he wanted this quick and short. Somehow, he figured this was going to be troublesome.

"Can you climb?" Uninformed as to the girls' conditions, or why they needed a chopper Rude was having difficulty forming a back-up plan. It was clear they weren't going to be able to land anywhere in the immediate area, and the next quickest thing would simply be to have Reno hover and flick the rope ladder over the edge.
-
"Are they blind?" Hikou asks, watching the copter sway from one side of her vision to the other.
The little rebel behind her gives out a wheezing laugh, and though his speech is long and arduous, the girl consoles herself that at least it still makes sense, "You dogs," huff, "can't even," puff, "find your," choke, "own team?"
"I know, right?" Hikou kicks a large chunk of cement, watching it skid off into the distance. "Men are so useless."
The boy's face crumbles; clearly, this is not what he had meant.

"We dragged Spitter around enough and we can't leave him here after all that!" Mikari half yelled into the PHS. "Tell Reno to find a landing spot, it's his fault that Spitter is here and now squished under the plate." Because someone had to be blamed, it was like they said in Shinra, people would shut up and quit whining as long as someone was blamed and punished, or at least they would temporarily shut up and suspend the complaints. "I'm really tempted to find a box, put Spitter in it and send Cloud over here to pick it up and deliver it to us at headquarters." It would be nice if Strife Delivery Service really was that useful.
