Yuki immediately pulled thecobalt from his shin. Then began to check him over. He was lucky he was already pretty bare on clothing, otherwise, she'd have been removing his clothes to tend to his wounds. After a few minutes she looked up at him, "I can only treat so much here." She said, "We'll have to get you to sick bay."
Chaos ignored Seth. Had she not wanted him to use the equipment, she should have not left it all alone. He was goign to say something, but as Gojaru walked in and said it was an emergency, he left it at that. He'd fight with the Okami a different day. Besides all of that, it wasn't her ship. And as far as Chaos was concerned, he'd been working on this ship longer than she had. Oh the things they would say when they argued. He thought, that even he didn't listen to have the things that shot from his mouth when he and Seth were having one of their episodes.

Spectre roared as the piece of cobalt re-bar exited his shin. His face turned stark white, and adorned the ghostly helmet that was his true form. The helmet was see through, but barely. If you looked close enough, you could see the skull under the headgear. his eyes were white wisps of energy that never ceased to stop swirling around like an ocean tide. His teeth, now bared and fanged were open, as he raised his ghostly head in agony. Over his body appeared ethereal armor, which had come from absolutely no where, but had taken over his whole form. It was shiny, but when something moving slower than a projectile or sword swing touched it, it went right through. White and black energy blasted out from his every pore, dimming the lights in the cargo bay.
The white energy shot to the floor like electricity, as the dark energy waved off of him like fire. Spectre, being a ghost, could align himself with either side of the spectrum, which was part of where his named had been derived. The light show cease, and the same pale human looking creature that had hopped from the ship was back, smoking, and clutching his leg. He let out a roaring scream. "THAT HURT!" However, when he took his hand away there was absolutely no mark, other than the usual scar he had had across his leg since he was little. "Sorry." He said, cooling down. "I'll never get used to that. Imagine being stabbed, then un-stabbed. The pain is unimaginable.

’Great, now Yuki has a patient and can’t pay attention to me’ Gojaru thought with an annoyed yet somewhat adorable pouty face.
Catzuki’s feline glare seemed to glow slightly which was not too rare for nekos and other felines but the look was not of worry or fear. She wasn’t surprised or bothered by Sectre’s presence at all. “Is he coming along?” The way she asked things sometimes sounded like she was demanding to know rather than simply asking.
Gojaru decided to try to get along with his client and conveniently ignored her tone. Thought a little temperamental, slightly violent and very annoyed the neko was still going to pay them a good reward. “He needs medical attention so I’m guessing he’ll be with us for a while, after that-“
“He can come if he wants” Catzuki finished before Gojaru did. The captain opened his mouth to speak but the neko cut him off again. “Don’t ask, it’s common knowledge but don’t ask.” Obviously she was referring to her past as an illegal ghost hunter, a profession quite common amount black haired nekos, jinxes, especially those with golden eyes too, aka double jinx.
“I should know if ghosts are amount our suspects for the kidnapping” Gojaru said.
“I don’t know who did it, but there is a possibility we’ll encounter a few maybe not as the main problem but as minions of the one responsible” Catzuki replied.

“Wait a tic!” Spectre said. “Another cat creature?” Spectre dropped his nuerohelmet to the floor. “I was trying to stop a pirate transport, when they used a neko for a hostage, and radioed that if we didn’t turn away they’d kill him. Then, as soon as they launched their hyper drive and skirted away, the left about sixty fighters after them!” Spectre reached down and picked up the nuerohelmet off of the floor, dusting off the small patch of soot it had collected from the impact of the missile. “They departed here about seventy three clicks ago! If you hit the drive now and prepare for a jump, you might be able to meet them on the other side. The rangers caught their exit signature in the Brigada galaxy!” Spectre turned away from the doctor and to the black neko. “What did your, um, husband? I guess? Look like?”
Spectre took the chance to take a quick look at his space craft. It was pretty battered up, but had thankfully held together the whole time. There were several holes burned through the main fuselage from space pirate plasma beams. The cockpit glass, suspended by the energy field fell freely to the floor and littered the space around his ship. It was almost painful to look at.

She nodded in understanding. It was not the first time someone burst out randomly in their pain. Although, the light show was new. She sighed a little off guard by the show, but as soon as it died down she only looked perplexed. Especially since Yukli was going to attend that cut. "Hmmm..." she mumbled. She pondered for only a minute more. "You're an interesting one." Yuki then said.
Chaos only watched. As he often did. He took a mental note of Spectre as well as Catzuki's comments. This would be one long trip. It also just occured to him that no one had informed him that the Okami was on board this mission. His eyes narrowed, he'd have still come either way, he just would like to know when Seth agreed to missions. This way, he could avoid her.

“A neko?” Catzuki paused. “My fiancé Hakimo Dibu is an elf.” She retrieved a small high-tech looking device from her pocket and opened it. It projected a life size high resolution hologram from its little screen. Hakimo appeared wearing his winter clothes necessary for cold in Dezolis. He had brown hair, green eyes, elf ears and a cheerful smile that didn’t look like it would ever disappear. “That’s him, he’s not a neko but he wouldn’t want me leaving a hostage without help. That’s just the way he is, always putting others first. We should follow the pirates then head on towards the location marked by the DNA radar.”
“Who made you the captain?” Gojaru grumbled. The neko was getting too bossy for his liking.
Catzuki hissed. “Shut up I’m paying you for this so quit whining.” If not for that Gojaru would have been through putting up with her from the second she threatened to kill Silvia. The eagle glared at he cat girl from the safety of Gojaru’s shoulder.

"Nope, no elves, sorry. I immediately assumed the same species. Sorry." Spectre said, never bothering to ask who or what who she was looking for was. "The ship that blew past WAS a prisoner vessel though, so maybe theres a chance for him to be on that ship?" Spectre asked, waiting while the doctor seemed to be busy looking him up and down for other signs of cuts and buises. He had plenty wounds to tender, and if he didn't get to the sick bay soon he'd start to get dizzy from blood loss.
"You have a DNA radar?" Spectre said with a confused face. "I thought those were only government issue devices, used only in galactic star cruisers, and completely contrband items." Spectre said with a raised eyebrow. "I like you captain!" he said enthusiastically without waiting for reply. "Can I ask permission to be on your crew as an escort / defense mechanism? I'm d**n good at pitbulling enemy fighters."

((OoC: I’m guessing you meant same race/species.))
“I thought so, his location appears to be a bit far from here... but we should still go after the prisoner ship, now.” Catzuki said impatiently.
“First girl that has truly annoyed me” Gojaru said in an almost inaudible voice.
“What?” Catzuki asked suspiciously in truth she had heard him quite well.
“Never mind, the customer’s always right, ok? We’re going.” True that Gojaru would probably be very rich if he didn’t spend all his money upgrading the Starlight Falcon but he loved that ship. “I have connections but the radar is legal if you’re wondering.” Though not all those connection were easy to obtain and even more so the permits, still a few people owed him. Legal didn’t necessarily mean there was no blackmail or money involved, it just meant he had all the documents to go with the radar and the police couldn’t complain about it. “Glad you have such a good eye for recognizing talent!”
“Don’t give him an ego, it’ll make him more incompetent” Catzuki commented while completely ignoring as if she were speaking behind his back and he wasn’t even there to hear her.
“I’ll pretend I didn’t hear that miss Nekish” then he turned his attention back to Spectre. “You may join the crew welcome! You can get a tour of the ship later, right now you’d best head to the sick bay.”

Yuki had listened paitently, only waiting for Gojaru to say that Spectre eneded to go to sick bay. As soon as he did, Yuki politely (as politely as dragging off can be described) Spectre to sick bay. She wasn't one to interupt the Captain when speaking, so as far as she was concerned, Gojaru's voiced concerned was more than order enough.
In a flurry, nurses were bandgaing wounds and preparing to get the injured man healthy and fit enough to work. As well as get some blood into his system once more. "He's part of the crew now, girls." Yuki said, "So we have to make this quick."
"Will he be okay?" one girl asked. "He seems pretty bad off."
Yuki gave a nod, "Yes, he'll be fine. Even if we have to make it quick, doesn't mean we can't be efficient."
Chaos gave a half disapproving grunt, but not to Gojaru's welcoming of Spectre. In fact it was directed at Miss Nekish. Was it so wrong to like a beautiful woman, even better if she wasn't bossy. Catzuki was quite an attractive woman, in Chaos's book. However, much like Seth, he believed that Catzuki would have been infinately hotter if she just stopped talking.
Although Gojaru's mention of talent did make him chuckle. It didn't take much talent to call in favors and blackmail a few people. Chaos was most likley in on half a dozen favor callings and blackmailings. He gave a shrug, as he let the thoughts escape his mind. "Well, then Captain. We best keep moving." Chaos suggested. "We'll have a lot to attend too." Which really meant he wanted to be out of there before Seth started to try and go through the mess Spectre had come in.

Gojaru nodded. “Right, let’s chase that ship it shouldn’t be too hard to keep up with it.”
Without waiting for anyone Catzuki had already started heading back to the control room for which Silvia appeared relived.
“Hotter if she’s quiet right?” Gojaru spoke in a near whisper even if Catzuki was already several feet ahead.
Back at the main control room Gojaru enabled the ship’s AI unit which had been previously disabled. With Yuki busy tending to Spectre at the sick bay and Catzuki being such a pain he needed to hear his precious ship, hopefully no one would be too annoyed.

Chaos gave a nod. Seems more and more woman were like that these days. Chaos followed Gojaru back, taking to his usual station without much of a word. Chaos went over a few things another crew member gave him. He loved new recruits. Seriously, he didn't mind them. Usually they were eager to learn and would do anything asked of them. He would be lying if he said he hadn't taken advantage of that once or twice.
"As soon as the tranfusion is done, " Yuki said to Spectre, "You'll be good to go. I'll have Chaos or Seth come and get you." She sat next to him to check his vital signs. It was required, even for ghost men. "And then you can get a tour of the ship. Any questions about your treatment or the staff?"

“About time you reactivated me, hottie” came a semi-annoyed female voice from ship.
“No way, the ship’s Ai is in a bad mood too? I thought that wasn’t possible.” Gojaru suddenly felt like that was not his day. He was scratched by a neko girl, his flirting time was interrupted and now the ship. “Have the ladies run out of love for me?”
“Idiot” Catzuki said with a golden glare at Gojaru’s drama.
“No sense of humor what so ever” Gojaru half grumbled.
“Don’t be silly sweetheart I could never be annoyed at you, where to honey?” The Millennium Falcon asked.
Gojaru cleared his throat and started explaining in his best ‘captain voce’ “We’ll be pursuing a ship and-“
“And you’ll be turning that off right now, the ship is better if it doesn’t talk” Catzuki said.
Gojaru knew better than to push the neko so he just turned off the Ai and quietly imputer the instructions while mentally counting to ten. If miss Nekish was a crew member she would have been long since fired but the reward for this mission was too good to pass off. The atmosphere was heavy with Catzuki’s temper and Gojaru’s annoyance and they proceeded after the prisoner ship.

"What a nightmare." Chaos mumbled. He rather liked the ship's AI. He wondered how long Gojaru would be able to put up with Catzuki. No amount of money was worth that. At least, that's what he figured. He was surprised Gojaru hadn't booted her yet. The pay must have been outstanding. Well, maybe it might have been worth it. Chaos thought for a moment, something bad might happen to Catzuki if she didn't watch out, or at least give the crew a break. Were they supposed to protect her too? The thought caused him to shudder.

Catzuki continued to sit quietly petting her pet mouse and decided to assume that Chaos was referring to the AI rather than her.
’9... 10...’ Gojaru was done with his mental counting and he was still annoyed. He gave Chaos a look of agreement and contemplated the control panel. If not because he didn’t want to deal with whatever he accidentally activated by pressing random buttons on the control panel he would be smashing his head against it right then. Suddenly he was really anxious to catch the prisoner ship. He could use a battle to take out his frustrations on the enemy and cool off a bit.

Chaos fiddled with something a moment more before turning to Gojaru. It'd been a while since he'd seen him that bothered. Chaos was starting to get thirsty too. Too bad Yuki was with a paitent. A grin crossed his lips, hooray for trailing people. Soon enough they'd be at the prisoner ship, then he could have his fill.
Chaos continues with his duties, taking only a moment to hypothesize how many prisoners there would be, as well as the nearest Space port to get them help. They couldn't very well keep all those people on board. They may have had the supplies and room, but he - and he figured Gojaru- did not have the paitence for it.
"Wonder if there's hazard pay for this job?" Chaos almost said inaudibly. "Well, it's not like I've got anything to worry 'bout."

The Starlight Falcon smoothly came out of the jump, all systems were stable and the prisoner ship was visible on the radar straight ahead. Gojaru was close to telling to telling the ship what to do until he remembered that he didn’t enable voice commands after disabling the AI, he considered doing so but decided against it. He didn’t want Catzuki to complain about him talking to ship when he could quietly get the same result with the press of a button. He certainly wished that mission would end but he had a feeling he was in for something long. With the Starlight Falcon well camouflaged by the latest technologies they approached the prisoner ship.
“Squeak, squeak, squeak!” The control was so quiet that Cotton’s quiet squeaks seemed a lot louder. “Squeak, squeak, squeak!” why didn’t she tell her pet mouse to shut up? “Squeak, squeak, squeak!” How could Catzuki put up with that mouse constantly squeaking yet she didn’t want to hear the ship’s AI. “Squeak, squeak, squeak!” Gojaru’s eye twitched.

Spectre emerged from the door onto the bridge, to be accompanied by Captain Gojaro and the neko lady, whose name Spectre had already forgotten. “Yeah, that’s it.” Spectre said, pulling a small scanning computer from his right vest pocket. The black boxers hung limply over his slender frame, showing off just how little he ate, and just how much he worked out. However, the workout was in no traditional gym. The workout Spectre received every day was in the cockpit of the fighter. His ship, now of course being worked on by the ship’s automated systems, was being brought back up to par with the repair specs it so badly needed. It was heavily modified, but it was the same basic frame as the rest of the Terran space fighters. Every turn, every switch in direction strained him physically, and he had to flex his neck most of the time to keep it from snapping in the 300 to 0 stops he so often made in less than a second.
“Where’s your nearest gunner turret?” Spectre said, staring out at the ship in the distance. They were close, and had visual now, but somehow, they were completely undetected by the radar. The jump should have triggered off the Pirate ship’s alarms, but strangely had not. “You have jump ECM?” Spectre said, never taking his eyes off the pirate vessel. “They would have picked us up by now.” Spectre looked out at the ship, and squinted his eyes.
“Ok… Pariah class cruiser, converted for prison use, captured from the Optopia army. It’s is heavily loaded, because those engines are on full blast, and it’s crawling. From personal experience I can tell you it has just about eighty-five fighters left, from book knowledge, it can hold four hundred, and still have room for six thousand prison cells, a full crew quarter, an ammo hold, docking bay station, and the bridge up top where that little dome is. I can nail it if you have any type of plasma weapon, and the ship won’t rock. If you don’t get ready for a big fight.”

Cotton continued happily squeaking like there’s no tomorrow while Catzuki gently petted him and Gojaru continued to twitch in annoyance. He was quite relieved to see Spectre arrive. He was tempted to say he didn’t have any plasma weapons just so he could participate in that big fight and use it as a stress reliever but he was pretty sure Catzuki knew the ship was well equipped and would protest if he said it wasn’t. Besides, this was his precious Starlight Falcon, he couldn’t lie about the greatness of the ship he adored. “The greatest and latest” he finally replied.
xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxox
Somewhere far away Hakimo constantly jumped up and down to try to reach the little window in the dungeon like cell where he was kept. He was trying to talk to the guard standing outside to ask why he had been captured but it would be rude to speak to him without looking at him. Finally the elf reached the bars in of the little window and held on to them. “Excuse me” he was ignored. “Excuse me, please if it’s not too much trouble I would like to ask you something.”

Kye looked at the monitor infront of his carefully. His eyes a slight red from the way the light hit them. He had recently been employed by a small organization that worked for bigger corporations for money. He was currently ranked as an elite in the corporation, although he had just joined up a few weeks ago. This morning he had been assigned to stop a Neko slave ship from delivering, or picking up a shipment of slave Neko's. He sighed and thought I am too good to be on these lame missions... They should be putting me in a better ship than this small frigate, and on better missions than these... things. But, I guess it's better than nothing... He checked the three dimensional map on one of the monitors infront of him and pushed the acceleration stick forward to speed the ship up towards his destination and kept an eye on the montior infront of him. The numbers on the map, which indicated his distance from the target, decreased as time passed. A few minutes later there was a beeping noise and another monitor showed a yellow dot, indicating an unidentified craft. (I am not sure of the ship that the rest of you are flying in... so... i'm just marking it as unidentified at the moment... 'cause i'm lazy like that. ) He looked at his objective folder, and the picture on it did not match the picture of the ship, so he knew it wasn't his objective. He sent a signal to the ship and in the signal sent a message which said, "This is Kye Vacewind, pilot of model 4002391 fast frigate. I am currently looking for a Neko slaver ship, have you seen one?"

Gojaru continued to twitch in annoyance over the noisy mouse and from from the corner of his eyes he thought he saw Catzuki smirk. She knew he was annoyed, he was certain she knew and she continued letting her pet being noisy on purpose. Oh how he wanted to throw her off the ship, ir was the first time he had been truly angry at a cute girl.
Catzuki looked up from petting Cotton for a second when she heard a beep. "What's up?"
"Allow us to handle the situation" Gojaru clanched his teeth and tried to keep a poker face but he had that I'm this close to throwing you out of the ship while it's still in space all over his face.
Ignoring the captain Catzuki focused on the ships radar. "Cotton sweety by quiet now. Be a good mouse and take a nap." With that simple command the little white mouse was silenced and it made it all that more frustrating that he hasn't been silenced earlier if it was that easy.
"Another ship is approaching" Gojaru announced.
