The mission was off to a rocky start for Gojaru, captain of the Starlight Falcon. He was easily annoyed at setbacks thought most of the time those setbacks were cased by pirates and the such, not clients, not girls. He had a soft spot for girl or as some would say he was a flirt but the dark haired neko with the golden eyes didn't appreciate it. Ok so they were on a mission to rescue her fiancé but seriously the girl could lighten up a little. Then there was the fact that Silvia his pet eagle had attempted to eat the neko's pet mouse, Cotton. He certainly hoped poor Silvia wasn't too traumatized with the scare the neko gave her when she came to her pet's defense.
Currently the cat girl sat in a corner of his ship hissing softly instead of not purring flirtatiously as he would have preferred. Silvia had lost quite a few feathers and it was a miracle he didn't loose any, as his red hair was feathery. All part of an experiment that didn't make him grow wings as it should have. He examined the cute on his arms. He know there had to be a reason some people didn't roll up their sleeves. He removed his Hyper Quantum jacket careful not to stain it and without another word to his wildcat of a client he headed off to see the local medicine girl. It was just a scratch really but he wasn't going to waste his chance to flirt with the cute doctor.

Speaking of cute doctors, she happened to be sitting quite contently in med lab, looking over crew medical files. Just to make sure everyone was in tip top health. In fact, she gave a relieved sigh as she closed the last file and put them back where she had got them. She fixed her shirt and sat back down, half wishing something interesting would happen. She caught herself saying, "If Gojaru-san or Chaos-kun were here, I wouldn't be bored." She gave a giggle, embarrassed she had said it out loud. The whole medical staff was made up of women. The nurses only giggled their agreeance.
On a different side of the ship, perhaps a daker, quieter part, Chaos was still checking through things as though they were still preparing for everything. When he had become such a perfectionist, he couldn't remember. In fact, it had gotten to the point he checked over nearly everyone's work, just because he ws sure they couldn't do their job properly.

“Yuki-chan!” Gojaru cheerfully called as he arrived at the med lab, a little too cheerful for someone who was supposed to be in need of immediate medical attention. “I had a bit of an accident with a ferocious feline just now and only the cutest doctor in the word can make it better.”
Catzuki petted Cotton gently while glaring at Silvia. The eagle was not happy that her master decided to make him ‘baby sit’ his client. Catzuki’s golden eyes seemed to say ’Try to east Cotton and I’ll eat you.’

Yuki immediately jolted up from her daydreams, "An accident?" She hurried over to him, "Where are you injured Gojaru-san?" she escorted him to the nearest bed and sat him down. She pondered for a moment, before getting medical equipment. He certainly didn't seem injured. He didn't look it or sound it either. What if it were internal? Or something that made you act like everything was fine? "Oh, but Gojaru-san? Where is there a ferocious feline on board?" she tilted her head sideways her forefinger resting thoughtfully on her cheek. "Did you have Chaos-kun take care of it?" As far as she knew, Chaos often took care of security disturbances.

Gojaru certainly liked getting attention from Yuki. Even if he was mortally wounded he would somehow manage to enjoy it. “Don’t worry too much about it, you see the feline is our client, a neko with a bad temper. I was just trying to be friendly and she scratched me” he conveniently let out the part about Silvia trying to eat Cotton because honestly, they were both fine so that wasn’t relevant from a medical point of view. He was the one with the injury after all. He showed Yuki his arms were the scratches were. “It’s not too bad but I decided to show you anyway, you know just in case. I do hope are dear client had all her shots” he joked.

The crackle on the radio came instantaneously over the radio of the Starlight falcon. The distressed voice broke through the sound block that had been currently engaged with a special emergency-only frequency. "Mayday! Mayday! Foxtrot one-five on call, severe damage, ammunition short, armor slim to none! Foxtrot command, respond, respond!" The wounded fighter ached through the space channel, common passage to all types of vessels. He had been stationed on route when several pirates attacked his cruiser, and had blown out the main engines, leaving it for dead. Lt. Col. Spectre and three other fighters had barely made it out alive with the massive cruiser blowing to pieces behind them, peppering their shields with all types of hot, projectile degree. Spectre had plugged his arms directly into the power input, lashing out his dark and light energy at the same time to power the ship's annihilator cannons and jump drives. When he exited the jump however, the pirates were their waiting. He gave them one hell of a fight, and had won, but at the loss to one crucial component... his canopy. Spectre now pumped the power he should have been using for engine directly onto his ship, creating an airtight forcefield around it.
"I say again! Mayday, Mayday! Foxtrot One-five in need of emergency pickup and dustoff. Foxtrot One-three, Foxtrot one-two, please respond!" Spectre was left with a ghostly static on the radio. He needed to get help fast. His air was running horrendously low, and he had but one concussion missile left in an inoperable silo. The sleek fighter, being a VTOL craft, could not make a proper landing because the bottom jets no longer would turn downward, so he'd have to reduce speed enough and apply the brakes until he gently slid into what ever bay he could possibly find.
He repeated the mayday call several times on the radio, until about twelve minutes later, he lay back in his seat, finally giving up hope, and accepting his fate.

Catzuki was petting Cotton and scratching the floor with her toenails/claws when she heard a voice on the radio. The situation reminded her of her days traveling in space though she didn’t recognize the name ‘Foxtrot’ from anywhere. She hopped off hr seat. Silvia spread her wings as if to stop the neko from touching the controls but a hiss from the feline put the eagle in her place. She pressed a button and spoke “Sorry but the captain’s off somewhere probably flirting and I don’t have the security codes to operate this ship.” She was surprisingly calm, well it’s not like whatever was going on was her fault.
Gojaru was trying to focus on coming up with a creative compliment for Yuki that he hasn’t already told her but the constant beeping of his communicator was breaking his concentration. He was certain Yuki had heard it too so he better get the thing to be quiet. “Yuki-chan it seems there’s been an emergency. I better go check it out before you end up with a lot of work to do.”
After leaving Yuki’s sight Gojaru’s charming smile turned to an annoyed expression as he entered the Starlight Falcon’s control room. Silvia immediately returned to her place perched on his shoulder.
“Oh wait, hold on, he’s back” Catzuki spoke transmitting her voice back tot he caller.
“So there was a call, I thought you trigger it somehow to annoy me” Gojaru said. “Hello! This is the amazingly handsome Captain Gojaru speaking. If you’re a beautiful lady in need of assistance I’ll be with in a moment if not” he paused and he noticed something. “That frequency!? Ok, we’re out of here. The Starlight Falcon is coming to assist you!”

Yuki gave a sigh. Something told her that things got intersting, but someone mightbe injured. She liekd to help people, that's why she took up being a doctor. She, however, didn't like seeing people hurt.
Chaos, after finishing a few random duties made his way tot he bridge just as Gojaru got there. A grin grossed his lips. 'If you're a beautiful lady?' He trapped the chuickle in his throat, he musn't show he was amused. "I'll prepare a rescue." Chaos stated simply, disappearing almost as quikly as he had come.

“Roger that” Gojaru said.
Catzuki seemed mostly unaffected but rather maintained her annoyed and impatient look. “Let’s hurry up we have a mission to accomplish.”
Gojaru was not in the best of moods. He was easily annoyed when things didn’t go his way, which they certainly hasn’t with his client, and the only thing that could cure the annoyance was flirting which he didn’t get enough of. Maybe some action would make things better.

Spectre sparked back to life as the voice echoed over the radio channel. The message was faded, but there none the less, and when he heard the words that the captain was back he was so happy he almost forgot that the whole time he had been holding up a forcefield. However, the comment on gorgeous lady was a complete surprise. "No! This is not a gorgeous lady! This is an emergency frequency bub, now save I disagree or get someone to! I'm going to DIE in a few minutes!" Spectre said, sounding audibly strained. It was painfully obvious that he was stressed and short-tempered. After all, he was holding his life together with a blast of light energy.
"Starlight Falcon, this is Foxtrot One-Five. I am currently drifting Stellar Nor-NorEast from your current position. If you look Starboard you'll probably see a very bright pure white light that your ship will not register as a star. That's my... um... distress beacon, and it's currently holding my ship together. I don't have a lot of time left, so as soon as I land in your pickup bay, I'm not going have to ask you to pressurize it immediately. I am out of Oxygen, and whatever is being squeezed down in my ship is whatever I have left. My only other choice would be to pump my cabin full of water and put my breather on, but then I wouldn't be able to move at all, and you'd have to maneuver around me to get me in the ship.
'Of all the captains...' Spectre thought to himself.'I have to be saved by a womanizer.

"Hey relax, we're coming. If you panic you'll use up your oxygen faster." 'I wonder how he got into that situation in the first place' Gojaru thought as the Starlight Falcon left towards the distress signal. It was a fast ship so getting there was no problem. "Ready Chaos? Let's rescue this comrade and celebrate afterwards" Because anyone whom he save and therefore made him look heroic, was his comrade by default, unless they annoyed him later.
"You mean do your job afterwards" Catzuki said. That distress beacon certainly didn't look like a regular one.

"Relax?" Spectre said. "How you ever free drifted in space dude!? IT HURTS! It's freakin' COLD and it sucks the oxygen OUT OF YOUR LUNGS! I wanna TRY to not go THROUGH that again." Spectre slammed his head back against his headrest, and realized that the captain was right. If he continued to rage in his seat, he wouldn't have any oxygen left to breathe. "I really don't want to free drift again. I might as well tell you now that I'm not entirely human... I'm part ghost. SO if you have shields up now, or any mind of saving me, even though I am what most people hate, you're gonna have to take them down. You know we can't free-roam in space. We die. I'm Lt. Col. Spectre Bastion of the 8th protectors aerospace force. We fight against the pirate, ghost, and... other... invasion that I'm not supposed to tell you about."
"I know I haven't done anything for you to trust me, but please... I'm begging you. Save me."

“I knew that thing looked weird!” Catzuki stopped herself before going any further and tried to look natural. “A ghost? I’ve never seen one before. Do they even exist?”
Her act was terrible and Gojaru knew there and then that there must be some relation between the neko and ghosts. He wasn’t sure but he has a pretty good guess about it. Nekos with black hair were considered bad luck. Most people with golden eyes were also considered bad luck. Catzuki had both. To ‘redeem’ themselves such people were often ‘employed’ as illegal bounty hunters or most likely for a neko, ghost hunter. Felines seemed to have something that made him more perceptive of ghostly presences and therefore more alert and less frightened. It seemed that some ghosts, though not all disliked felines or even feared them possibly because of their history a hunters.
Aside from becoming curious about the ’annoying wild cat’ as Gojaru had dubbed her in his thoughts, he also became curious about Spectre and how he became part ghost if it was even possible by natural means or if he was part of an experiment. The Starlight Falcon captain was part an experiment, a failed experiment where his hair turned feathery instead of making him grow a pair of elegant working wings. Aside from the unusual tattoo like patterns that appeared from his back nothing actually grew there. “Almost there, here we go, I’m beaming you in.”

Lucky for Gojaru, Chaos was always on the ball. Ready to work and always doing so. He mumbled to himself about something and continued the operations needed to bring in a ghost. "You mean, I'm beaming you in.." Chaos said a little louder than intended, then gave a shrug. Hooray for intercoms between crew members.

“Right, gotcha, Chaos will be beaming you in, no need to yell” Gojaru joked, he could still keep a sense of humor in the situation despite the annoyance of having to interrupt his flirting time. Ah, the joy of intercoms.
Catzuki looked alert yet relaxed in a contradiction that only felines could pull off that well. “So what’s your experience with ghosts?” Gojaru asked.
Catzuki’s golden glare looked annoyed yet not surprised by the question. “That is none of your business.”

Spectre felt the grab of the tractor beam and let out a huge sigh as he felt the ships engines power down, and the pull of the beam begin to suck him in. He quickly spun the ship to the right via compressed gas, and jettisoned the armed concussion missile that he had in the tube that would not fire. “Foxtrot One, dead fish.” He called. This was the standard radio call for jettisoning any live ammunition that was about to be place in a ship, and within a few seconds, the bottom of the tube split in two, and the mechanical spring jettisoned the concussion missile. The instrument panel went haywire as the tractor beam scrambled their readings, as any tractor beam did to any ship without active ECMs in place.
The ship slammed to a halt as it was dropped abruptly in the middle of the cargo bay. A loud metal clanking sound was heard as the lower shielding of the starboard wing hit the polished tile floor. “Well, looks like you showed up right in time Captain.” Spectre said. He lowered the light force field once he heard the airlock shut and air rush back into the room. He hopped out of the starship, dressed in nothing but a pair of pilot shorts and a coolant vest. His stark white skin darkly contrasted the black clothing, and his hair was matted down under a layer of sweat. It was usually kept up in neat spikes.
He took the nuero-helmet off, and placed it under his arm, leaning back and inhaling the oxygen blend like it was the last breath he’d ever take.

Chaos met Yuki where they had just let Spectre in. She was hurrying down the pathway to attend to any injuries the man might have. "You are not needed here." Chaos stated simply.
"We just rescued someone!" Yuki argued, "He might be severely injured." She gave a confident nod. "Besides, only Gojaru-san can tell me who I can and can't treat." She stuck out her tongue in a childish fashion and continued ahead of her comrade.
The two arrived at the same moment, Yuki with a smile on her lips and Chaos with intent to kill in his eyes. The intent was, of course, directed at the simple girl.
Yuki was the first to speak, "Welcome aboard, I'm the crew's doctor." She had hoped that didn't sound scary. She knew a lot of people disliked doctor's, the conflict showed in her eyes.
Chaos only watched. For now, he'd just act like some lower security sent with the doctor. Call it too many space pirate encounters, call it paranoia, whatever the case, Chaos was not so easily trusting.

Seth walked into the room. "CHAOS!" she shrieked.
"Why are you using equipment without MY permission?" she asked waving her arms in a frantic spazz.
(I hope I'm yelling at the right person. I just woke up from my second nap, so I'm not all here.)

"Actually, I have a very nasty burn... on my right butt cheek." Spectre said. Inside the space fighter, there was a gaping hole under the right side of the seat where he was sitting where one of the tanks for the ejection seat lit on fire. He also removed the vest to show the doctor that he had received several shrapnel lacerations from the exploding canopy. he also had a small piece of the frame of the ship embedded in his right leg, however, the whole leg was glowing in sort of a ghostly light. he pointed down to it. "Can one of you pull that piece of cobalt out of my shin? I don't know how much longer I can ghost it out." Spectre said. There was a trickle of blood running down the side of his head too, and when revealed, the nuerohelmet showed signs of a concussion blast.
The craft was almost beyond repair. It had the markings of the nearest planetary militia, a highly industrial city completely inhabited by all different types of zoo-anthropes. Spectre had drifted there after backstabbing a group of pirates that he had belonged to for a very long period of time. He piloted one of their resupply ships, and when he realized JUST how bad what they did was, he assassinated their commander and general. Ever since then wherever he went became a target of the pirate's attention when they found he was there, but he was presumed dead now, and no one would bother him any longer.
The zynthion cruiser he flew was a mid-raged fighter with a massive payload, meant for anti-fighter and anti-bomber air battle. However, Spectre was not. He was anything but the picture perfect pirate. He was large, often cramped in the cockpit, and it was very hard for him to move around. If he ever had to pilot anything small, he would simply rip the seat out and sit on the floor, providing him with enough room to do his thing. Spectre was a badass, or, at least tried to be. He was aften found doing the right thing, even when he wanted to show off, and do the wrong.
So he stood there, wearing next to nothing, bleeding, wounded, one limb in ghost form, and holding a cracked nuerohelmet... with seventeen more skull-and-crossbone logos to add to the hundreds painted about the nosecone of his craft. He was battered, broken, and the hero of the fight, and reveled in it.

“Of course! Captain Gojaru is never late for a mission, I’ll be right there.” As easily as he got annoyed his annoyance disappeared at the chance to look heroic. He hurried to the cargo bay to welcome their new guest whom he was curious about, Silvia followed him closely. Then he heard Seth. ’Someone is in trouble’ he knew better than to make the Okami upset. He considered replying with something like 'he's in the cargo bay' but he couldn't see Chaos' reaction, or lack of reaction at the moment so that wouldn't be any fun. "We has an emergency Seth-chan, come see our guest." Soon after he arrived at the cargo and paused looking at Sectre "I've seen stranger things in the la-I mean on TV."
Catzuki went ahead to the cargo bay. It looked like the crew was gathering there so she might as well be there too. Sectre was a ghost but not like the ones she used to hunt. Good, it meant they weren't interfering with the rescue yet but that didn't mean that they wouldn't in the future. She suspected they had Hakimo prisoner but so far had found no proof other than her own history.
