The Witch's Curse
The rules are the same as in the sticky. It should have been the first thing you read so if you haven't please go read it now.
Plot: Years ago there lived an evil witch whom many believed to be invincible and immortal meaning she could not be killed, hurt or trapped. She could use all the magical elements plus she had a few special abilities. She caused chaos and destruction all over the world and came close to taking over. Then she disappeared. No one knew why she disappeared or where she went but she returned 5 years later to try to take over the world again. However after 2 more years she disappeared again and has not been seen or heard since then. Our story starts 18 years after her last disappearance in the kingdom of Sugary...
Rumor says that the witch disappeared to rejuvenate herself and came back in the form of a young girl. They say that even if her hair color and eye color are different the girl must be the witch. Some say the witch could use all the magical elements and had many special talents. She was thought to have power beyond what was supposed to be possible to have. All she needed was to be young again and once she gained age control she combined it with her shape shifting abilities to look different and have the strong agile body of a young woman.
The girl was not the witch but she decided to accept the reputation and take advantage of it. She doesn't know why they are so sure she's the witch and no one dares to say it.
Many people believe that the witch's memory was sacrificed to obtain her new extra powers but with her memories gone she forgot how to use some of her old powers. That is how they explain that the girl can't use all the elements. Most people think that if they pick a fight with her the battle will bring back her memories and she'll be all destructive again. People prefer to keep her relatively harmless and just do whatever she says.
You can be a traveler, a knight, someone who lives in the kingdom and so on. You could be trying to join the witch, trying to defeat her or trying to prove she's not the witch of legends, just don't expect anyone to believe you. The king believes it and the people of the kingdom trust their king. Also if you try to fight the witch expect many civilians to get in the way in fear of wakening her memories and destructive powers. You could also join a gang of thieves with Bandit O.
You are human or vampire by curse or bite of another vampire. It's kind of a weakness since you'll need blood. Elves are sadly extinct. That's all you can be human or vampire as your main character. Mermaids, faeries, dragons and mythological creatures are very rare. You can have one as a minor character and there will only be one of each at most. For dragons it's 3 because it's one of each kind and for fairies 4, one of each element. It's not in their nature to join human adventures/missions so they most likely won't want to stick around for too long. Read on for details.
Magic
For magic pick one of the fallowing elements. You can have magic or special talents not both. You can also choose to have no magic or talents at all but I don't know why anyone would want to. XD
Earth Magic
You can obtain energy from plants or give your energy to a plant to make it grow, nurse it back to health, etc. You can control trees and plants of any kind unless they are cursed. If it's a curse be careful because if you absorb their energy you will be cursed also. You can communicate with plants but they can't really see things, they only feel them and because of that they witness events from an entirely different point of view. The information is often hard to interpret and rarely specific. You are not able to create plants out of nowhere but you can make a seed grow a lot faster.
As a special ability a few (one in the RP) Earth element magic users can communicate with land animals. The way they see things is a little closer to a human perspective than the way plants feel things but it's still different. Putting both points of view together can be very helpful.
Water Magic
You can swim very fast and hold your breath underwater far longer than any other element. It takes a lot of hard work and energy but you may learn to turn water into snow or ice, ice into water or snow, etc. You can use water to heal. You can also become invisible underwater (being wet doesn't count you have to be underwater). You cannot create clouds but you can delay rain or make it fall sooner if you need water to work with. You can't create water only manipulate it.
As a special ability a few (one in the RP) water magic users can communicate with fish and sea animals.
Wind Magic
In this case you can manipulate and create wind. You can take control of tornadoes or create and guide them. You can also make storms (you'll need a few clouds) which will be as powerful as your magic. Usually to create a hurricane or a big tornado it will take team work from more than one wind user. You can't make clouds but you can blow them away. You could move them to fallow you to help you or a water ally or blow them away to take away a source of water from an enemy.
As a special ability a few (one in the RP) wind users can communicate with birds and flying animals.
Fire Magic
You can create fire. It is a bit unstable by nature and hard to control but quite powerful. Some (not all) land or winged dragons have a soft spot for fire users even if they are generally unfriendly to humans.
The special ability of some fire users is that they can also create and control lightning. Like in the other cases this will be rare. I will let one more fire user learn to use lightning (I already have one) but it will be hard so don't master it just like that.
Special Talents
Remember you can't have magic and special talents. To balance things out since you don't have magic you can have three talents. This is where you can be creative but we (the other RPers and I) need to approve of your talent so don't exaggerate. Here are a few examples.
Teleportation: To a place where you can been and remember clearly. You can teleport to a place you've never been to if you can see it. Example, maybe you've never been in that mountain over there before but you can see it so you can go there if you concentrate hard enough and it's not a huge distance. You can teleport long distances only if you've been there before and clearly remember the place. Drastic changes in the way a place looks may interfere because you won't be able to picture yourself being there clearly enough since tat place looks so different now.
Psychic: Mind reading not controlling. People can develop a metal block against it. If you're psychic you can trick other psychics into getting false mind readings. You can send mental messages to anyone and receive messages from other psychics. If you're skilled enough you can hear a message not directed at you but you can't change it.
Empathy: To sense emotions and powers.
Hypnotism: Again no mind control. I don't want anyone controlling another person's character. This basically creates illusions. It makes people think they saw something that they didn't or it makes them brush things off as their imagination even if it happened.
Shape shifting: I think everyone knows what this is. Mirrors and reflections (water, etc.) show your true form. You can shape shift into other people or animals. You can't fly unless you have wings and you can't have wings unless you can shape shift into something winged. You can only shape shift into people (or animals) you've met/seen in person not just pictures.
Age control: This comes in two ways. You can become younger and older at will or simply stay a certain age. If you choose to stay a certain age then that's it you can't develop an age control beyond that and you're stuck with that physical age. It doesn't make you immortal since it only affects physical appearances. The years you live and stamina will still be the same.
Let your imagination have fun but don't forget we need to approve your talents so no super invincible characters. Not even the real legendary witch was invincible her legend was exaggerated by the people of the kingdom. The max number is 3 but you can have less than that if you want or if balancing things out is necessary because your talents are too strong.
Dragons and mythological creatures
There will be no weird creatures unheard of creatures but there will be a few mythological creatures.
There are dragons who live on land and don't have wings. For the special abilities of communication with animals they can communicate with the earth element. Winged dragons communicate with the wind element's specials and water dragons communicate with water special abilities. Fire users can communicate with all dragons by signals with fire but they can't talk with them, not that they need it since the fire works once they get the hang of it. However dragons tend to be unfriendly to humans. All three can breathe fire even the ones that live on water. It comes as steam and makes the water hot if they do it underwater.
We'll have unicorns and pegasus as well, also winged unicorns. As usual land creatures communicate with earth and sky creatures communicate with wind if they have the special ability.
Mermaids can talk to anyone but they are only trusting towards water users and often refuse to talk to anyone else.
Faeries have one of the four basic elements (earth, water, fire, wind) and can communicate with magic users of that specific element. They are very shy and don't often approach humans. Their trust is easy to break but very hard to win.
Don't keep mythological creatures as pets, remember they are rare. You can keep not magical regular animals and wild animals as pets.

Personality: Nice deep down but kind of selfish and impatient.
Background: She discovered her ability to stay young when she was 19. She had not changed in any way since she was 14 while her cousins grew up. They were joking about it and made her think about asking an emphatic old lady who lived near by just to be sure. She ran away a few months after that to escape an arranged marriage. She came to the kingdom of Sugary, famous for its donuts, to try the donuts and other sugar covered sweets. Just before arriving she was attacked by a bandit who could use water. She shielded herself from the ice blade he formed and tried to fight back. Sir Nenshib came to the rescue and gave her the ruby necklace after chasing away the bandit. After visiting the kingdom a bandit stole her box of fancy donuts when she was on her way to a near by forest to pig out in peace. She chased after the thief but it turns out the thief was a fire user. She didn't get hurt because of her shield abilities. Her apparent immunity to magic scared the so called knights that came when they heard her yelling at the thief and they thought it was because she was invincible and was calling to lead them to a trap. Who else is invincible if not the legendary witch from years ago? She recovered her donuts and earned a false reputation which she used to get free stuff.
Strength: Defense because of her energy shields. You'd have to get her really tired or catch her off guard.
Weakness: Offence her attacks aren't all that strong.

Weapon: A sword that couldn't cut anything if his life depended on it. It's a little bent and very melted so it's not sharp anymore. He burnt his own weapon by accident but he likes that sword and refuses to get a new one.
Appearance: Bright red hair, blue eyes, 5'10". He wears black clothes with silver armor to copy what "the knight" wears.
Personality: Carefree, playful and obsessed with burning things. He also likes getting hit by lightning and that's not healthy.
Background: Due to being obsessed with burning things he decided that evil would be a good career choice for him. He heard about the legendary witch from years ago returning as a young girl and asked to join her army to take over the world. At first Silpphire just bossed him around but later she told him the truth. He wasn't angry (he hardly ever gets angry) and since pretending to work for the witch was still fun he continued traveling with her. Before meeting Silpphire he lived with his parents and younger brothers. They sort of kicked him out after he burnt down their house and nearly killed himself and his brothers by accident.
Strength: Powerful fire and the rare special ability to use lightning.
Weakness: Lack of control.
Name: Prince/Sir Nenshib aka "the knight"

Power: teleportation (and hypnotism but it's a secret)
Weapon: sword
Appearance: Wears black clothes with silver armor. His hair is silvery white and his eyes are tealish green. He's about 6'1" and very handsome. He has lots of fan girls.
Personality: Acts all cool and helpful sometimes but disappears quickly. Kind of mysterious.
Background: He was adopted by the king and queen when he was 8 and became a knight. One year later the queen died of poisoning and the king did not get married again. Since there is no biological heir to the throne the position of prince will be given to Nenshib. Everyone calls him "the knight" because they think he's the perfect example of what a knight should be noble, strong, handsome, etc. Most girls like him and most guys either strongly dislike him or want to be just like him (Pyromage for example). His secret identity is Bandit O sometimes called Bantido. As Bandit O he is the leader of a gang of thieves. Nenship started out as Bandit O when he was 15 but didn't become famous among the thieves until he was 18 and had been causing trouble for a while then more bandits started to join him. By the time he was 20 his gang of thieves was one of the biggest in the area. That was when the too forgiving for his own good King Aleth finally declared him wanted and sent his adoptive son who was the best knight in the kingdom to capture him without knowing that Nenshib and Bandit O are the same.
Strength: His skill with the sword while using teleportation.
Weakness: Overconfident.

For a while, he blamed Armana, but knows it is not her fault. Now the two travel to write about mythology as well as find a cure for Sydra's vampirism.

She shielded herself from the ice blade he formed and tried to fight back. Sir Nenshib came to the rescue and gave her the ruby necklace after chasing away the bandit. After visiting the kingdom a bandit stole her box of fancy donuts when she was on her way to a near by forest to pig out in peace. She chased after the thief but it turns out the thief was a fire user. She didn't get hurt because of her shield abilities. Her apparent immunity to magic scared the so called knights that came when they heard her yelling at the thief and they thought it was because she was invincible and was calling to lead them to a trap. Who else is invincible if not the legendary witch from years ago? She recovered her donuts and earned a false reputation which she used to get free stuff.
Strength: Defense because of her energy shields. You'd have to get her really tired or catch her off guard.
Weakness: Offence her attacks aren't all that strong.

Weapon: A sword that couldn't cut anything if his life depended on it. It's a little bent and very melted so it's not sharp anymore. He burnt his own weapon by accident but he likes that sword and refuses to get a new one.
Appearance: Bright red hair, blue eyes, 5'10". He wears black clothes with silver armor to copy what "the knight" wears.
Personality: Carefree, playful and obsessed with burning things. He also likes getting hit by lightning and that's not healthy.
Background: Due to being obsessed with burning things he decided that evil would be a good career choice for him. He heard about the legendary witch from years ago returning as a young girl and asked to join her army to take over the world. At first Silpphire just bossed him around but later she told him the truth. He wasn't angry (he hardly ever gets angry) and since pretending to work for the witch was still fun he continued traveling with her. Before meeting Silpphire he lived with his parents and younger brothers. They sort of kicked him out after he burnt down their house and nearly killed himself and his brothers by accident.
Strength: Powerful fire and the rare special ability to use lightning.

Appearance: Wears black clothes with silver armor. His hair is silvery white and his eyes are tealish green. He's about 6'1" and very handsome. He has lots of fan girls.
Personality: Acts all cool and helpful sometimes but disappears quickly. Kind of mysterious.
Background: He was adopted by the king and queen when he was 8 and became a knight. One year later the queen died of poisoning and the king did not get married again. Since there is no biological heir to the throne the position of prince will be given to Nenshib. Everyone calls him "the knight" because they think he's the perfect example of what a knight should be noble, strong, handsome, etc. Most girls like him and most guys either strongly dislike him or want to be just like him (Pyromage for example). His secret identity is Bandit O sometimes called Bantido. As Bandit O he is the leader of a gang of thieves. Nenship started out as Bandit O when he was 15 but didn't become famous among the thieves until he was 18 and had been causing trouble for a while then more bandits started to join him. By the time he was 20 his gang of thieves was one of the biggest in the area. That was when the too forgiving for his own good King Aleth finally declared him wanted and sent his adoptive son who was the best knight in the kingdom to capture him without knowing that Nenshib and Bandit O are the same.

She also wear a necklace with three feathers rumored to be that of an angel, phoenix and pegasus(??I forgot the last)
Personality: due to her empathy she can be quite moody. She is generally very caring and kind. She is also quite understanding and has a strong dislike of crowds of people and conflict.

Personality: He likes people to leave him alone, therefore he tries to be intimidating. He has a soft spot for well mannered children, and can be quite caring once you get to know him. Otherwise he's stubborn, moody and generally not a very charming person to be around. He is also usually very well mannered, not afraid to say what's on his mind and will not spare your feelings. Proud.
Strength: Agile, fast and quite strong. His curse as a vampire has at least given him that much. He is also quite good at being scary.
Weakness: needs blood, fire, very weak after using his own blood for weapons
Mani and Syd's abckground:
Mani and Syd were best friends growing up. Syd would always look after the quiet picked on little girl, often resorting to violence despite the fact he was a very calm and well mannered child. Mani carries around a deck of cards, her last memento of her father, and Syd believes it to be foolish as Mani thinks the cards hold some sort of protection or mystical power. Syd doesn't believe in most superstitions. When he was fourteen he was cursed to be a vampire, but cannot remember exactly how it happened. For a while, he blamed Armana, but knows it is not her fault. Now the two travel to write about mythology as well as find a cure for Sydra's vampirism.
