Dragon's Heart
In the last ten years, there has been no need for the legendary dragon warriors. It has been a peaceful time, and the dragons are being forgotten. Just because there hasn't been an open need for dragoons, does not mean that they are not being trained. Day in and day out, each dragon trains a messanger for their cause. The inevitable day when the sorceress betrays their gifts and trust. The nine dragon villages are hidden, now just a a bedtime story on stormy nights.
The waters are being plagued by pirates, and the deserts have bandits, both have become unsafe to travel. Natural disasters are cutting cities off from each other. Rumors are starting to fly wildly around that the dragon gods have awakened, their anger must be appeased. The sorceress has denied that the dragons exist and that it is nothing. That people should continue living and that she will stop the disasters and bandits.
With the sorceress's denial, Zero has called a meeting. In his anger he has denounced the child they gave their blessing and now yearns for her death. Venom has agreed and wishes her head for his throne room, he has sent his messangar to find his dragoon. Each dragon has informed their messengar of the need for the Dragoons. Will the chosen warriors pass their dragon trials? Or will the Sorceress be left alone to lead in an upcoming tyranny?
Several dragoon candiates have been found by the proper messanger. The dragon trials have come and gone. Perhaps by some cruel fate you have passed, filled with a sense of pride you sleep well. As time progresses since you became a dragoon, you notice things you didn't before. You can understand animals, the cold doesn't bother you, you can hear voices on the wind; to each his own. Upon passing the dragon's trials, you have been blessed with some special gifts. You have the weirdest dreams about dragons and sorceresses and you can't help but feel like you are missing something. You feel something coming, the moment you have have been waiting for.
Your training has been intense and your messanger has been moody. Meaning they haven't been sleeping well. It would be nice if you could speak with your liege, but your messanger insists that they do all the talking. It's most likley for the best, as it's what they are born to do. Another meeting is called and it is brought to your attention that you must meet the other dragoons. You set out from your small home, with your messanger, lance and armour. Try and build a decent name for youself, dear dragoon. You are the inspiration tales are made of.

The sorceress is a woman gifted in all elements and has been blessed by all nine dragons. She is the leader of the world and often very kind. Yet, with great power comes great responsibility. After a while a sorceress can become corrupt and abuse her powers. When this happens, dragoons(lost warrirors) begin to rise up and do the dragons will. Usually they act as the 'Death' of the sorceress. They are accompinanied by a Dragon Messengar (priest or preistess). They have similar abilities, but quite often only try and find dragoons. They give the dragoon their orders, directly from their Dragon Master. A messengar is picked at birth and has often been dreaming of a certain dragon since they can speak and often try and spread the word of their dragon's happiness or anger. They are constantly in the company of the Dragoon. All messengars are gifted in magic of the element their dragon rules over.
I am going to be very opened to the spell usage by messangers. Remember to keep it to their element and we won't have any problems. I will also be rather flexible with them as depending on the element people may view them differently. A bit of 'To each his Own'. I will say something if I don't agree with your magic, or if I think you are taking it too far. Same with Dragoon techniques. I think something like 'Snake bite' is appropriate for an Acid Dragoon. Use your imagination! =D Legendary weapons are exclusive to a dragon. And lances are the standard dragoon weapon. Dragoons can use both classes of weapons. Messangers can only use secondary (unless otherwise stated).
If you are going to wield one of the legendary weapons, please allow me to write up a trial or something of the sort. If you want to play a messanger than you can start with a legendary weapon as they have been serving the dragon since they could speak. Just write up a small trial (or something) on how they got it.
You can be a dragoon, messanger,or the sorceress(we only need one for this XD). I would like to see everyone as a dragoon or messanger. Afterall it is the point of the game. <3 I would appreciate if someone would like to play the sorceress, but it is not required. I have given general jists of the personalities for all dragons,dragoons and messangers. ^_^ Feel free to add what you'd like and try and keep within the limits. I don't think a depressed or suicidal Celestial Dragoon would work. Also, please keep your dragoon/messanger in the town of their dragon.
And lastly, one dragoon and one messanger for each dragon please. Variety is a thing of beauty. We don't need one of each to start, but it would be nice. When picking dragoons/messangers, it is first come first served. Once one is picked another dragoon of the same type cannot emerge unless we have a dragoon of each element. It's also very cool if you play a dragoon and messanger of different elements. XD Adds to character interaction.
Zero: Oblivion Dragon - Dark = Nebulous(city)
One of the hardest dragons to ally with. He is stubborn, harsh and vicious. Because of his personality he is feared and considered dark, which may or may not be true. Not many dare try his trials. Becoming an Oblivion Dragoon is a great accomplishment, they are rare and seem to have a deep understanding of the shadows.
A dragoon who has passed the trial can often be seen wearing black or crimson armour. They are confident, strong and somewhat dark. Some have been said to develop bloodlust, as well as a split personality. It is rumored that darkness takes hold of you and never lets you go, people who take the Oblivion trial are often driven mad. Those who actually pass have mastered not the darkness, but the darkness within their own hearts. They have no regrets and live to better understand the shadows and darknesses of others. They are feared since not many know about them. Even though, there is no real reason to fear them. They do however, find strength in the despair of others. Their abilities allow them to feel others pain and suffering and draw strength from it. Many Oblivion dragoons claim to dispel darkness from the hearts of man.
A messengar of oblivion is quite similar to the dragoon. They, however, wear robes rather than armour. They are just as confident as their armoured counterparts, they tend to be very stern and quiet. These messegars like the peace and quiet the best, as it is best for meditation. They feel most at home in the dark, or at night, and only feel the need to speak with their Dragon and Dragoon. If you manage to make one of them mad, it is rumored they have the power to steal your very soul. Unlike many of the other messengars, they carry a weapon or two, they are quite skilled with lost blades(katanas), and have no apprehension about using them if needed.

Selene: Celestial Dragon - Light = Elysium(city)
The most difficult dragon to ally with. She is selfless, caring and innocent. She is the most seeked dragon, and has even fewer dragoons than her counterpart Zero. Many try her trials only to fail. It is the greatest honor to be a Celestial Dragoon, and is considered by many the greatest dragoon to be. Becoming a Celestial Dragoon is the gift of a lifetime, they have a deep understanding of the heart and soul.
A dragoon who has passed the Celestial trials is selfless and kind, often wearing silver or white armour. They are loyal, healing and often naive. It is said that all children are protected by the Celestial dragon and the only ones to be able to pass are those who have not lost their selfless innocence. Or even those who have the mind frame and hearts of a child. They seek strength in the hearts of all around them, becoming moody with negative emotions and conflict. They would give everything if only to see you smile, just once. They value life above everything.
A celestial messengar is often timid, quiet and reserved. They love to heal more than anything, when they do speak, they are often trying to stop some quarrel. They lack the physical strength to wield a lance, instead they are much more agile. They dislike the thought of hurting anyone or anything and thus carry a staff, only for their protection. They can often be seen using the staff as a light or beacon, or as an extension to heal.

Legendary Weapons: Ame No Nuboko (Holy lance),Yggdrasil (staff)
Vulcan: Blaze Dragon - Fire = Inferno(city)
Short tempered, slow witted and always up for a fight, this dragon is popular among young warriors. The most southern Village protected by a volcano is where this dragon resides, awaiting only the strongest of warriors. He can be picky and has a tendency to bite. Becoming a Blaze Dragoon signifies your burning determination and undefeated will.
A dragoon who has passed the Trials of Blaze often wears orange or red armour. They are arrogant, loyal and ready for anything. On a Blaze dragoon's good days they are warm and inspiring, and often the center of many tales and songs. On their bad they are firey wrecks who would sooner set things alight than try and find some form of logic. They can be quick to anger but never forget a goal. They value fun, relaxing, showy battles and having a good time over duty most times.
Blaze messanger's are less likely to anger than their armoured counterparts. They like the same games and lifestyle though. They are often seen as spontaneous and irresponsible, but that's not the case at all. They wield whips, that are often carelessly worn as belts.They are often charismatic and charming, they have a love of all things warm.

Legendary Weapons: Fire Lance, Nagaika (short, thick whip)
Neptunas: Ocean Dragon - Water = Torrent(city)
A paitent dragon who likes the finer things in life. He requires some sort of offering before allowing you to travel the seas and can be quite a pain even if you have given a proper offering. His mood changes quickly from peaceful and beautiful to harsh and destructive. The favorite of girls trying to become warriors, he has become a big softy for woman. His village is surrounded by water in the east. Becoming an Ocean Dragoon shows your beauty as well as your thorns. Often pinning the dragoon as some beautiful disaster waiting to happen.
A dragoon that has passed the Trial of Oceanus dawns teal or deep blue armour. They are often poetic, peaceful and graceful, as well as vengeful and childish. Like the sea their moods change quickly, they are a force to be reckoned with despite the fact that they don't necessarily like to battle. Perhaps the least emotionally stable of all dragoons, they have a love of shiny things and pirating.
As most of the Ocean dragoons are aspiring young woman, so are the messengars. Their weapons of choice are the small toy that always comes back. They are finicky, graceful, proud and near impossible to deal with, like your average princess. They are always bargaining while shopping, trying to get the shiniest things for free (without stealing usually).

Legendary Weapons: Poseidon's Trident (Blessed by the ocean god), Karma (yo-yo of destiny)
Omega: Terra Dragon - Earth = Gaia(city)
Strong, somewhat dull and usually sleeping, he boasts the best defense. He takes a long time to say or do anything, and really prefers not to mess in the affairs of others. His city is in the desert west, and he loves all the festivals they throw. Becoming a Terra Dragon shows your unbeatable defense and monstrous strength. Often misunderstood as battlers, they really just prefer to mind their own business.
A Dragoon who has passed the Terra Trials wears a deep brown or copper armour. They are unbeatable in strength, defense, and can be quite stubborn. They often live only to protect, but don't like to battle or hurt people or things. They dislike being pushed around and will react only when a situation affects them directly. They have a deep love for nature. Many stories say that they can communicate with animals and plants.
Unlike most messengars, these guys don't mind getting dirty or fighting if need be. They wield hammers, that are quite often larger than any thing else someone could imagine. They lack the speed that most of the other messengars have, but they have hearts of gold. Much like their dragoons, they won't react unless something affects them directly. Most are known for their herbal cures. They are also the only messangers that can weild the main dragon weapon, lances.
Weapons Usable by Terra: Lances, Hammer
Legendary Weapons: Fissure (a destructive spear) , Demeter's Grace (a hammer whose power depends on the season)
Zephyr: Tempest Dragon - Wind = Gale(city)Calm, gossipy and always moving, he likes things to be constantly changing. He can remain calm even in the worst situations and really just prefers to talk things out. His city is suspended in the sky, and floats above the others. Becoming a Tempest dragoon puts you as a mediator. People believe they make the best leaders.
A dragoon who has passed the Temptest Trials often wears green or pale green armour. They are calm, flexible and opened to change. Their greatest dislike is to be trapped, be it physically or emotionally. They prefer to travel at their own pace and are constantly changing their minds. Tempest dragoons like games of chance and are rumored to be able to speak with the wind.
Tempest messangers are calm, graceful and gentle. They can hear very well, and are able to catch secrets from the breezes. They prefer light and easy to use fans, that enhance their wind magic. They like to travel and are often caught throwing around the phrase 'I go where the wind takes me'. They are easy to please, but dislike staying in areas of conflict.

Legendary Weapons: Gungnir (Odin's spear), Harisen (light as a feather and easy to use)
Crystal: Frozen Dragon - Ice = Glitter(city)
Cold and Distant, she is one of the least seeked dragons. Her ice like demeanor makes her difficult to approach, although her dragoons have admitted she is quite caring. Her village resides deep in the mountains in the north, always buffeted by snowstorms. Becoming a Frozen Dragon shows your emotional detatchment and ability to do everything without feeling to deeply for any side in a situation. You get the job done, no matter what.
A dragoon who has braved the Frozen trials sports ice blue or crystaline armour. They are often guarded, quiet or often very cold seeming. They care, they just don't like to show it. They dislike warm temperatures and are the most likely to finish a job. They don't so much like duty, but they would rather just get it over with and get out of the life of others.
Messangers are less quiet than their dragoon, they speak up when they are uncomfortable or bothered. Instead of seeming guarded, they are generally very sad, often feeling like no one understands or cares. They can predict snowstorms and find peace in the chaos of winter's chill. They prefer the length of Chakram, rather than getting in close. Beautiful but deadly, they are said to be sprites and the bringers of Winter.

Legendary Weapons: Fimbulvetr (a spear said to bring about a harsh winter) ,Snowflakes (twin chakram that freeze all that they touch, according to the will of the holder)
Nysir: Storm Dragon - Lightning = Volt(city)
Quick witted, tongued and unable to sit still, this dragon is often a danger to himself and others. He is often reckless, and is seeked by only the biggest thrill seekers.
His Village is located on a small island in the west. Becoming a Storm Dragoon shows your quick relfexes and ideas. People often view you as reckless and a chance taker.
A dragoon who has passed the Storm trials often wears yellow or gold armour. By nature they are quick in wit as well as on their toes. They love to defy chance and take anything that comes. Reckless and fun loving, they, like their dragon, can be hazardous to everyone's health. They are impaitent and refuse to stay in one palce for too long. They have the ability to predict storms, but are often gone before relaying the message to anyone else.
Messengar's of quick wit, tongues and the lack of ability to keep quiet. They are much more proficient at predicting storms, and even less likley to share their knowledge unless you can beat them at a game of chance. Unlike their dragoon and dragon, they can stay in one place for long amounts of time. They like the speed and grace of a bow as well as the ability to 'rain doom' upon their enemies.

Legendary Weapons: Zeus's Wrath (a spear modeled after Zeus's lightning boltsĀ), Thor's Ire ( a bow housing the thunder god's anger)
Venom: Acid Dragon - Poison = Malice(city)
The least seeked dragon, he is sadistic and loves pain. He has a tendency to torture people and loves nothing more than seeing the pain of others. He is often believed to be the cause of many troubles and strifes among people, and even though the rumors are untrue, he takes credit for them. Becoming an Acid Dragoon shows your ability to take as well as give pain. They are often the most troubled, while feared, people greatly respect them.
Passing the Acid trials gives you purple or deep purple armour as a dragoon. An Acid Dragoon is often irritable, tired and find people only useful as targets. They are immune to all poisons and can easily create antidotes for any illness, yet they find people idiotic. They believe people are the cause of all pain, thus figure they will eventually kill themselves. They are the least likely to help out, you must first meet their standards and offer them a deal they cannot refuse. They are tricky and love taking advantage of every oppurtunity that arises. If you can actually manage to get on their good side they are wonderful comrades, they are quite kind and make excellent doctors.
Acid Messangers are more irritable and likely to throw things than their dragoon, they are not the most charming of people. They have a well known habit of striking when someone so much as looks at them the wrong way and use the excuse that they felt threatened. Tricky, manipulative and generally bad tempered, they are able to heal any poison but don't often do so.
