"Yes, I agree" Ybury said. People sometimes looked like they were walking away but they were truly only going back for reinforcements and those men looked like that kind of people. If they were to avoid a more serious confrontation then they should be gone before a larger group came looking for them. Then there was the way they had wielded their weapons, those who saw if even from afar might suspect about their true heritage because weapons coming out of nowhere was not necessarily an everyday thing. "We need to continue our journey" Ybury said as a way to say that they would probably need to leave soon anyway.

Celes looked about the room, her temper flaring up bright and hot, causing her cheeks to flush and her brow to furrow. They were warriors, proud beings. Why should they have to flee because of some good for nothing thugs?! She looked around at the patrons of the small inn's dining area, some of them had stopped mid chew to ogle at them since they had seen Isis reveal her weapon and as such, reveal what they were.
Celes stomped one booted foot and leaned forward. "Turn back to your food you bunch of fools, we are not so much animals like the lot of you!" She hissed as she dared any whom were offended by her words to step forward with her glare. Most quickly turned back to murmur amongst themselves, and those who met her gaze with indignation in their eyes was quickly stared down.
She turned back to those that were gathering their things around the table. "It seems like the time for tales and merriment has passed now that we have to flee the city like a bunch of scalded dogs. I hope we can resume it soon." She quickly turned and pushed past the humans that got in her way, throwing a small bag of silver coins on the innkeepers desk before storming out.
-----
The group of thugs quickly made their way from the middle of the city to the opposite end, the buildings growing more and more shabby as they neared the slums where the ones who would avenge their pride waited.
"Are you sure he will do the job?" asked one hooded thug to which his leader scoffed "OF course! One of those jumi Gems can set you up really nice for a long time. He will fetch a nice price with all of em, all we need is for him to make sure it was us that sent him and that they know that."
The group laughed as they sprinted down the dark alleys, searching for a bar with a tell tale sign that would lead them to the Jumi hunters.

"Now, now, Celes." Isis half chided. "Don't think of it that way!" She was sure Celes would look at her with anger. "Instead, think of it as evening the field." Isis gave a nod, "I mean, I don't think it's wise for us to stay in such a small closed area." Isis paused in front of her guardian, "If it comes down to it, I would much rather be in open plains or something rather than a tavern full of humans." Isis gave a sigh, her imagining of guardians had always been soft and elegant. Sure enough, Celes was both, she also had the temper of a salamander. On second thought, Isis was sure she perfered the rough speaking Celes to some old stone of a Jumi who preached to her about her carelessness. Or some old man just waiting to take advantage of her. She shuddered.
While not the best of times to say it, Isis did anyways. "Celes, don't be angry! Cheer up, ja?"
Rowan shared Celes's sentiments, but was not as vocal about it. He understood too well the need too move on. So he said nothing as the group left, only followed closely to Yruby, he didn't want trouble for anyone.
---- Meanwhile, in a known Treasure hunter bar, a green haired woman sat down. Her peridot eyes flashed as she schooted herself closer to the red head. Her slender fingers traced along his chest as her other arm snuck it's way around him, before her head rested on his shoulder.
Her leg shifted, as the slitted dress fell over it, revealing a slender leg dressed in fishnet stockings; she looked up at him. "Dumah." Ivy started, "My Dumah." she snuggled closer to him, contemplating perhaps biting his ear to get his attention. "I'm bored. Why did you send Methon out?" Her black lips puckered in a small pouty fashon before her eyes seemed to sparkle once more. "Perhaps you could keep me entertained until our next job?"
She was sick of waiting for people. If Methon would get back then they would have a job to do. It sure beat sitting around, and she had already swindled most of htem men here out of money. To her, it seemed that Dumah was no ignoring her too.
The band of men reached a young boy, whom they knew as Methon. AT least, he was younger than any of them.
"Hey Methon!" one called,"We got a job for you and your boss." Of course the man was referring to Dumah. "It's about heartstones."

"We'll get to another town in no time and it'll be great, lots of fun" Ybury smiled at Rowan practically sensing his discomfort. She liked it when the mood was light and relax though it might take a while for it to get to that or as close to it as it could possibly be.
xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxooxoxoxox
"Is that so? How interesting" Methon replied in a completely innocent sounding tone. He had a pretty good idea who the request was about as the boy had a talent for sneaking around unnoticed and obtaining information. He looked around as if to make sure there were no eavesdroppers. "Please tell me more" a part of being a spy was not letting anyone know just how much information he already had.

Celes huffed in her anger, but she couldn't dispute the matter with the group. It wasn't like she could change any of the knights mind to go and chase after the ruffians.... But still her mind entertained the thoughts of running after them and disciplining them thoroughly.
"Aye... A night in the Field." She crossed her arms and looked back at the group,a sudden pang of guilt snapping up her spine as she realized that her temper had blinded her previous joy she had felt upon meeting the others... and that she had revealed a less then kind side of herself rather quickly.
Her frown deepened and she quickly turned away, her hands beaconing the small dragon to come and rest itself on her person.
-------
Dumah chucked at the Green haired beauty that rested at his side, her flirtatious ways tantalizing to most men, but he knew that it was a game she played with all men, and despite inviting them to play under the guise of fairness...she was always the winner.
"Ah, Cher," He started, His violet eyes casting a knowing glance at her as he chuckled, a deep throaty chuckle that showed genuine amusement. "I do believe that that wont be necessary. It sounds like we have a job already." He lifted a hand and caressed her cheek before standing up and cracking his knuckles.
' I was starting to wonder if something would come up... I thought I had gotten then all' he thought absently as he stretched. The ruby heart stone at his throat glittered in the low lamp light, and he felt a smirk rise up on his face.

The ruffians explained to Methon how two jumi women had ambushed them in the tavern. And that those woman were braggign the entire time that they could easily beat the group of men, before they were (the men) kicked out of the bar by said jumi. The story sound fishy and easily made up. But they were drunk, to expect coherency would have been silly.
The man who had begged the Jumi to not do anything never opened his mouth to even try adn defend them. He didn't mention that his leader was lying. No, he wouldn't speak out against him more than he already had. There are three types of people in the world: those who are part of the problem, those who are part of the solution and those who just keep their mouths shut. sometimes, that last group can be part of either group. The solution or the problem. Today, keeping one's mouth shut meant you were not helping and therefore, part of the problem.
Ivy gave a sigh, hoping that Dumah would have indulged her flirting if only for a moment. Still, once Methon gave them all the details, she could tease him a bit. She shifted her position to cross her legs before taking a look at her nails. "Well," she then said in a half biting manner, "it's about time.
-------
Osiris gratefully flew to Celes and perched himself on her head. If he didn't have to fly, that was great.
Isis grinned. "Better under a blanket of stars then wreaky, smelly boards!" As odd as they may sound, she really did loathe human inns. They smeeled funny, they made noise whenever you moved, and you could never tell if you were going to be attacked. Isis had become much more familiar with the sounds nature made in peace and in war.
"You're right." Rowan replied, trying not to fake his optimism. He appreciated the comfort. Yet he was more fragile than Yruby or Isis, and he only wondered how Celes would hold up.

Methon knew that the story had been modified but that wasn't too rare in that kind of job. The point was there there were jumi to hunt and heart stones to collect. He would have alerted the other hunters about the jumis anyway but of course it was better if they could get a little extra reward for their trouble. However Methon had been only watching from afar and didn't quite get a good look at some of the jumis. From his point of view the archer was pretty much blocked by the people sitting at a table near his but he got a general idea of what some of them looked like or at least the color of what they were wearing. "I'm certain that we can help you."
After getting the full details from he men, Methon returned to report to Poison Ivy and Dumah. "We have a job" He made his presence know as he entered. "Hello, I hope I'm not interrupting anything" He spoke with a hint of mischief that didn't seem to fit in with his innocent looking face.

"That's right, when night comes we can find a nice comfortable place to sleep with soft grass and beautiful stars" Ybury liked watching the stars and the rare occasions when she saw a shooting star.

"Of course not." Ivy replied. "Tell us this job? Is it big?" For once her words held hope and excitement. It would be only a moment before they returned to sarcastic and somewhat bitter or flirting.
--- Isis gave a nod. The simplicity of knighthood was far too apparent. Especially with Yruby and Isis agreeing. "OH!" Isis squeaked. "I just remembered something! Thank you Yruby!"
Hearing Yruby say beautiful stars reminded her of a tower her first love once told her about. The Tower of Leires, a moon tower with the door of fate, that told one it's past and destiny. "There's this old moon tower!" Isis then blurted. "And it has a door of fate! It tells you all about your past and destiny!" Her thoughts paused, "maybe we can find our home!"
Being with other people was good for thought process.
"But you need the Moon's Mirror," Rowan answered, "To even open the gates."
Isis's happy expression faded quickly. "Oh?" She grimaced before she smiled. She smelled adventure. "We can always fidn the mirror!"

"I suppose you could say it's a big job. We'll be rewarded for hunting jumi, three of them and their heart stones are an ever bigger reward than the money. We could probably get a good price for that baby dragon that was with them as well. It's rare to find that many jumi together." One of the people with the jumis he recognized as his childhood friend Ybury. He knew it wouldn't be wise to go talk to her right away but he wanted to know why she had disappeared without even saying goodbye and why she was, from what he saw, sided with the jumi. Of course he still didn't know she was a jumi too. "Maybe we'll even get some extra help..."
----------
Ybury wasn't sure what Isis was thanking her for at first but soon realized what she said must have reminded Isis of the tower. "Right, then finding the mirror will be our next goal" It felt as if the journey was starting to really go somewhere but then she remembered that she had no clue where to start searching. "Do you know where it is?"

"Methon!" Ivy quickly embraced the young man, her glee showing quite easily. "You dirty little boy!" Of course, from Ivy, that was a compliment. She rubbed her cheek against his as he ran one finger along his chest in a playful fashion, "You always know how to make me happy."
----------
Isis stopped dead in her tracks. She paled and looked to Yruby. "No. I don't!" She crouched down and fiddled in the dirt pathway. "He never told me!"
Rowan looked up to the full moon. "A maiden would have it." He said, "I mean, the goddess would bestow it upon a maiden. At least that's the story my father always used to tell me. So perhaps a Jumi woman?"
Isis perked up, "You think? But a knight's bit too rough to be a maiden, eh?" Her eyes stopped at Celes. What if her guardian had it all this time and never knew? Or what if Celes would be the key to finding it. "Perhaps a Female Jumi Guardian is the key?" Her eyes sparkled with mischief and she looked like she might pounce her own partner. "If she doesn't have it. Maybe she can at least open the gate?"
Rowan was almost frightened by the hunting look in Isis's eyes. He shifted closer to his partner. "Maybe?" he said, a half frightened chuckle escaping his lips.

"You lost your memory. I can't believe it." Leon shouted at his brother in pure irritation. "Oh I'm Glen and I'm the best knight and all the girls want me. Oh wait, dust. Wow how shiny." he mocked and patronized him as well.
Leon sighed, "Now that that's out of my system, we are going to the Tower of Leires."
He walked just a few steps a head of his brother. If they can't get his memories back at Leires then by the goddess just cast him into the Underworld. Leon really couldn't stand seeing his brother like this. They had just left the Bone Fortress, and were after the jumi hunters.
It had been quite awhile since Leon found Glen like this. Everytime they would get into trouble or nearly get thrown in prison or some other form of bad luck it would always trip the random memory of when he first found his brother.

Glen stood a little taller than his younger brother, they might even be mistaken for each other on numerous occassions. That is, until one opened their mouth. Apparently, they were on an important mission, but Leon would not tell him what it was. Because, "You'd just forget it anyways." Still Glen felt out of the loop.
"My memory is just fine." Glen retorted. Although he did have amnesia he didn't know it. Sure Leon told him several things, but Glen didn't feel like he had forgotten anything. In fact it was more like his memories had been completely void up until Leon found him. Hearing Leon sigh, Glen perked up a little.
"Why are we going to Leires? What's there?" Glen asked.
Once Glen had shared a story about Leries with Isis. As a jumi linked to the moon he knew all about the Moon's Mirror and the Tower. He would tell her stories to see her teal eyes sparkle, it was one of his greatest joys. Now, Glen didn't even remember her. Much less the name he had left behind.
He didn't remember being among the highest ranked knights, he hardly remembered his own borther. If not for their striking resemblence, Glen would have believed the man before him to be an insane fool.
'I'm there' Glen heard someone call. It was a dark voice, rough, stern and challenging. It caused him to stop. "I..don't want to got here." No, this voice was not bad, only the shadow of his true self, but what he had once been may scare him now. Still, he had no reason to believe in amnesia. He seemed just fine.
"Leon?" Glen queried, "Do we have to go to Leires? I think something bad is waiting there."

Ybury nooded. "Maybe... if not we'll figure something out but there's a chance it'll work."
xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxox
"I'm guessing I should take that as a compliment?" There was that totally innocent look again. No wonder it was so hard to tell who he really way, he gave off the impression that he simple couldn't hurt anyone. "This mission, it'll be a rich one, I'm certain you'll be very happy. It seems that after their trouble with our drunken clients the jumi were in a hurry to leave. We should try to catch them before they reach another town."

Leon stopped dead in his tracks. "You've got to be kidding me." he said wishing just this once that his brother was pulling his chain.
"We are going to Leires and you don't have a say. We need to get your memories back." he added and started walking again. "Plus, if something bad is waiting there, I'll just kill it." saying in a slightly arrogant tone, much like his brother once would. This whole thing was breaking Leon's heart.
"Now, do you remember anything about Leires?" he asked looking back at his brother, hoping he would say yes. One could only hope for so long, but how much longer could he keep hope? "Hey, maybe we might met the woman you told me about. I bet this is all her fault. She's got to be human, no Jumi woman would do this." he complained and looked back to make sure Glen was right behind him.

Isis was still side tracked by the thoughts of pouncing her own guardian, but gave Yruby a nod.
"Maybe being a Jumi woman may open the gate?" Rowan suggested. "We may not need the mirror at all." Rowan crossed his arms slightly. "There once was a Jumi who lost their memory. In that lost, confused state they stumbled upon Leires. The Tower, sensing the distress of its child, opened its gates and led them to the Door of Fate." Rowan glanced up to the stars, "While we are not lacking our memories, perhaps the distress of not having our home will be enough?"
----
"Of course its a compliment!" Ivy protested. Her lips pouted, "You have a lot to learn about women Methon." She turned away from him and sat on the table. She crossed her legs and listened to Methon say that she would be very happy. "That is EXACTLY why I love you two." she said, "Give me a man who knows the value of money and a good time, and that's all I need."
--------
"My memories are fine!" Glen protested once more. Upon hearing Leon ask him what he knew about leires he picked up his pace so he wouldn't be left behind. "I don't know anything about it. Should I?" His head tilted as Leon kept speaking, "What woman?"
It was only then that Glen thought he might actually be forgetting something. "Did...did I leave a knight?"

Distress could certainly be an most unpleasant feeling. If it had to be so annoying it might as well make itself useful. "Let's hope it's enough, it's worth a try right?"
xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxox
"Excuse my ignorance I guess I do need to be enlightened" for a split second, just for a tiny fraction of a second one could have caught a certain mischief in his tone but rather than it being a thing of blinking and missing it, it was a thing of not blinking at the precise moment and missing it since his completely innocent expression didn't change and would kill the effect of the mischievous tone. "I'm happy to be of service... about having some extra help..." he paused wondering if he should bring up the subject now. For all he knew Ybury, although he thought of her as human, could have sided with the jumi.... no, she wouldn't do that. Jumi had killed her parents, her grandfather died fighting them as well leaving her with her grandmother as her only relative.
In truth her would be adoptive grandfather had died fighting along side a dear friend who was like a brother to him, a jumi who was hunted down and the human who tried to help him was killed as well. It wasn't until years later that the two jumis who were Ybury's parents met the widow who adopted their child as her granddaughter. Why? Under what circumstances were her parents? did they die? Ybury didn't know. A rumor was spread that she only had her grandmother because her parents were killed by jumi while protecting the village. Nate, known as Methon as a hunter, believed the rumor and assumed his friend didn't believe it because the pain brought her denial. Her grandmother always told her it wasn't true and the jumi were not evil but it wasn't until her final time that she revealed that Ybury was a jumi.
Methon still didn't know. His first thought was to assume she left seeking revenge. She left very suddenly probably thinking that with her grandmother dead she had no reason to stay in the village and it was time to avenge her parents and grandfather. Then it hit him, she was outnumbered and that's why she was following them, she was waiting for the right moment to strike.

Celes's eyes widened at the look on Isis's face, and she suddenly found herself in quite the awkward place.
"M-me? I am not any less brash then you Isis!" She started, her brows raising in surprise. If she did indeed have the mirror, she had not had any idea of such a thing... Unless it was inside her somehow? Immediately Celes's hands went to her stomach, quickly patting around as if suddenly she would be able to feel it poking out from some obscure piece of flesh.
At the mention of someone loosing their memory however, Celes couldn't help but chuckle. "Perhaps We need not worry, Maybe if we just bonk you on the head a few times, we will get through ey Isis?" she teased as Osiris Huffed a small puff of smoke in amusement.
---------- Dumah laughed at Ivy's antics, and shook his head as he reminded himself for the millionth time that she was a catch that was best left unbaited. Although he had to admit, it was hard to resist her when she scrunched her nose. Before he could even open his mouth to engage her once more however, he became aware of something strange with his companion.
"Methon.." Dumah cast his eyes over the familiar form of his fellow hunter, his own gaze filled with what seemed to be curiosity.
"You seem troubled. Is there anything wrong?"

Ybury was amused by Celes patting her stomach as if searching for the mirror there. Then again swallowing a mirror was not an easy to forget experience. She laughed quietly trying not to sound too obvious but a little humor was nice to lighten the mood if only for a moment.
xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxox
"Everything's fine I was just thinking... I saw an old friend with the jumis, taking her past into consideration I'm guessing she wants revenge because jumis killed her family. She must be waiting for the right moment since she's out numbered. I was just thinking about that, maybe she'll want to join in on this mission" Methon was hoping she would join. She was an exceptional archer and if she managed to get close to the jumi without arising suspicion she could make a pretty god spy too.

Isis chuckled, "Well, I suppose I can take a beating! BUT! I was just throwing out ideas." Isi gave a grin, "Who knows, maybe I can open the gate. My core is an aquamarine, and the moon is tied to the tide."
Isis looked thoughtful, "You said it's child, didn't you?"
Rowan gave a nod, "It's a common belief among moon born Jumi. My father was an Alexandrite. He told me every Moon jumi knew the tale. That it was knowledge they were born with."
"I see." Isis commented, "The man who told me spoke like it was common knowledge...."
Little did the group know, that another set of Jumi was already headed to the tower, both moon born and one without his memory.
As Isis and Rowan stepped forward to look back at the group. The ground began to rumble. In the distance a tall moonlit tower seemed to rise. The full moon shine don it's presence as if beckoning the jumi. Their cores gave a flash to the midnight call.
"Leires.." Isis mouthed.
-------------
Ivy only watched as Methon spoke, and then Dumah. She saidnothing, letting the boys have their moment. She glanced to the side, her Shade companion speaking.
"I see." She stood and entered herself intot he conversation. "The Tower of Leires has risen." She smirked, "It seems a moon jumi has lost their memory."

"Sure." Leon replied sarcastically. Hearing his brother ask if he left a knight nearly stop Leon to have a laughing fit, however, he remain composer.
"No, you didn't leave a knight." He told his brother who look shattered apon the thought. "They wouldn't be that lucky." he mumbled inaudibly. "I was hoping you knew something." he added loud enough for Glen to hear.
This was all that human woman's fault, if she is still alive she won't be for much longer. He was enraged to know that it all happened because of a woman. Human women were the worst, at least that's what Leon thought because he had never met a human woman that was worth it.
